« This was our first time renting on the sound and we chose the perfect house! The house was clean, exactly as described and the location was perfect! We were close to restaurants, shops, and a little playground for the kids. Karen, the host, was quick to respond , she even checked in in on us on our drive down to see our eta and give instructions. « We had a great week! Very quiet & peaceful location on the sound all while being very close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for extended family to have their own space, all while having great common areas to spend time together. The book and game library in the living room provide plenty of things to do inside if the weather isn't great, or if you just need to get out of the sun. « The location is awesome. Very short walk to the beach. The home was decent. Beds were comfortable. House was pretty clean. The washing machine was broken before we got there and we weren’t told. It wouldn’t drain, so after trying to use it we had to empty the water with buckets. Over the next few days I called the property manager at least 5-6 times. Nobody would tell me when/if it would be fixed. Finally I drove to the property management office. They told me I could use the washing machine...

« Our first family vacation to OBX and Breeze Bay was perfect. The location was fantastic- 5 min walk to the beach was super easy but honestly our boys loved fishing from the dock and using the kayaks just as much. Pickleball was a blast at Kinnakeet. The kitchen was fully stocked for making meals. We absolutely loved having morning coffee on the deck and then watching the sun set on the roof top deck. « The house and location were great. Set back in a quiet neighborhood. We had our dog with us and the neighborhood was great to walk her and I loved that it had spots with poop bag dispensers. There are multiple entertaining spaces which made it great for our different age range of family members to either be together or have space to do their own thing.
