Historical home with comfort

We loved our stay it was a perfect fit for us We booked this property for its location to the University for graduation and some amenities but we ended up loving absolutely everything about this place. We loved the open dining rooms well as the beds were large and so comfortable. The outdoor space with tons of adiorandack chairs plus firepit string lights made it perfect for entertaining a couple of my son’s friends. The grill was a great plus to have everyone over for dinner. The exterior is very well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with quality cookware and we loved the morning sun coming into it. If we make it back we definitely will stay here again. We loved our time at Gainsville with recommendations from the owners we went to one of the springs floating the river all day. I recommend The Swanp it was a nice college lunch place. We also went to Spurrier’s Grille for a nicer meal after graduation.

The home was clean and spacious and tastefully furnished. We slept well and was able to go to everything within minutes. Communication was quick with our host. I appreciate the workout room, the delicious coffee and the variety of reads.

Perfection!

Perfect for visiting my gator. Very easy to walk to the stadium & campus, but due to heat I drove. Convenient location & short drive to retail areas & exploration of the Gainesville area. Easy self check-in. Charming area populated with many student rentals, but very quiet. Beautiful back garden & old oaks. Perfect for a family or even 2 or 3 couples.Great hosts. i highly recommend!

Amazing house and location!

Cutest house ever

I do not know if I have enough space to describe how great this house is! The house presents exactly as it is pictured. It was super clean. Dealing with Cameron was so easy. Any question we had was answered quickly. They supplied us wonderful local coffee for the stay and we went and bought some. It is perfect location to UF and we walked there very easily. Beds were comfy! Great house!!!!

Perfect Home Close to University

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this well maintained and super clean home. It’s close to the university so our daughter was able to “scoot” over no problem. The home is well stocked and the communication with the property manager (the owners) was flawless. It’s obvious the owners take pride in their property and providing the best service. We can’t wait to go back and book again!

Lovely Home Very Comfortable

We like having the big table to play board games as well as the games provided by the hosts. The house felt roomy with large beds in two rooms an a cozy double in a smaller room. We played charades in the living which had perfect setup using the fireplace for the performer. We loved staying in a home built in the 1920's. The bathroom was huge which was surprising. We hope to schedule another visit with the grandkids.

Nourishing, Lovely Home

I grew up in Gainesville, and this charming, immaculate cottage was right in the heart of town. Waking up each morning surrounded by the soaring, protective boughs of live oaks, hearing the birds and frogs, was more than I could have hoped for. Thanks for allowing me a peaceful return to the quiet and safety of m childhood. And, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds very comfortable (from the grown-up lens).

Charming Home

What a fabulous stay at this beautiful house. The whole place was spotless and the vibe was a charming mid century cottage. All the details were there from the wide baseboards to the gorgeous original wood floors. The hosts paid close attention to making it super comfortable. The beds were great and the kitchen had spices, creamers….. all the things to make it feel like home. If you are in Gainesville- stay here…..you’ll love it!
