The house is amazing! Plenty space for our family! It was nice to have little gathering areas (downstairs living area, upstairs loft) that our older kids could hang out.Dan is a great host, super responsive and super helpful!

It was amazing there. Loved everything about the house. Fantastic host. There was enough room everywhere for our family. Loved cooking in the large kitchen. I just can’t say enough about house and how it just completed our vacation. Went skiing and shopping downtown Galena. We will try to do something like this more often

We LOVED our stay at this home. The house is filled with natural light and is warm and inviting. Plenty of room to spread out if your with a group. It was immaculately clean. We are planning our next trip back!

Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed 3 lovely evenings at the property. We had tons of room to spread out. Great hot tub, ping pong and pool table were enjoyed by all. Well stocked kitchen, large kitchen table and multiple large spaces to relax and watch tv at the end of our shopping days. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding in each bedroom. We've been renting in Galena for near 20 years now and this was voted as one of the best by our family!

I booked this house for trip with girlfriends and it worked out perfectly! The house is perfect for a big group of friends or family. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything anyone could need. We really enjoyed hanging out in the living room, the view of the river is beautiful. We also loved the hot tub! The owner was very communicative and provided suggestions for local restaurants. We are excited to make this an annual event and look forward to renting this house again!

Kitchen was fully stocked, everything a group would need. The house was clean and rooms were spacious. It is the perfect space for a large group reunion like we had. Large hot tub was the clincher for us to book here.

Family reunion

6 brothers and sisters, nephews,nieces, grandchildren and a dog had a wonderful time together. There is plenty of room to spread out for relaxing, playing games, and visiting. Some spent time shopping in Galena, some hiking, playing games, pool and ping pong, and playing with the dog at a very nice nearby dog park. There is so much room for a large group to just hang and visit, and eat. A lot of time was spent on the large deck visiting and enjoying the view of the lake. We saw and heard a variety of land and water birds, and a turkey! Our host promptly provided information about the home and area and quickly answered any questions we had. We had everything we needed. Great host! We would certainly stay again when in the Galena area.

Wonderful ladies weekend!!

Seven of us celebrated our 100th book in our book club and stayed at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and stocked. Owner very responsive. It was absolutely perfect!!!

Wonderful place for a family weekend

The house is big, beautiful, very clean and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked so that you could make meals to enjoy while staying there. The living room has big gorgeous windows to enjoy the view and adds so much brightness and warmth to the space. We saw people ice fishing during our stay. Game room and hot tub was also an added bonus that everyone enjoyed. This home was close to Galena too! Dan also made sure we were having a good stay and communicated with me the whole time. I appreciated that. I would highly recommend his house if you visit Galena.

Must stay in Galena Territories

What a great place to stay with lots of room for our large extended family to meet and hang out. Although only 3 couples stayed there, there was plenty of room for our extended family of ~20 people to hang out for dinner and enjoy the view from the decks. The house had everything you could need. I was impressed with how clean it was for being such a large house and the fact that another family had just checked out that same morning. Dan was great with all the communication. We will definitely book again when we are in the area!

Lake house

This house worked well for our weekend get-together with family. The house was clean, stocked with most items you might need (bathrooms, kitchen, entertainment) plus items that you might want. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely separated, the common areas were spacious and furnished (deck, huge kitchen island, table/chairs, comfy chairs, sofas, etc.), and the basement ping pong and pool tables as well as the blackboard were entertaining. The owner was responsive and helpful. All and all, the property was a great venue for our family get-together. We would stay at this property again.

Fantastic stay at a 5 star lake view property

Dan the owner was always available from the moment we made our reservations until we left. The house was spacious and so clean. It had everything we needed. If tranquility is what you need this house is for you. We grilled one night and ate on the large deck. The house has a beautiful game room in the basement where we stayed up late nights having so much fun. Golfing is also available if you want to book a game. Our family had a wonderful Mother’s day weekend and we will be back. Thanks again Dan for sharing your lovely house with us.

What an Amazing Home in the Territories!

We stayed for three nights with family and friends. This house was so clean and perfectly laid out to accommodate adults and teens who wanted to sleep together and have privacy, The basement had a ping pong table and pool table and fun chalk board. There was so much extra space to hang out in and relax. The kitchen was duly stocked and had great amenities. And the views. Stunning! And the fireplace was enjoyed. Dan is the perfect host-thoughtful and responsive. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

A delightful home and a gracious host

We had the most enjoyable time at Dan's property. The house itself overlooks Lake Galena. The North Cove bank of the lake is a 2-minute drive away and offers a great fishing spot. The home was clean and luxuriously furnished. We fell in love with the furniture and decor. Everything was clean - zero dust, which was a huge plus for our family as some of us have allergies. The kitchen was put to great use. Lovely crockery and cutlery. Enough for us all. And Dan just knows how to walk the fine line between assisting us and letting us be. He was on hand when we had questions and timely in his responses. Super friendly. Only good things to say. We hope to return to this lovely home some time in the future.

The best home we have ever stayed in.

From check in until check out this was the best experience we have had renting a home. There is nothing that could have been done to have a better stay. We had 9 people ranging from 1 to 62 and a dog. Except for clothes you almost dont need to bring anything. Dan, the owner has thought of everything possible. Huge home with so much to do. Pool table, ping pong, play staion are just a few of the things everyone enjoyed. Beautiful veiw of lake Galena. I could go on and on but I think you all understand this is the only place I would stay in Galena. One last note, Dan is very easy to reach if you need anything. Thanks for a dream place to stay.

Amazing Location for Golf trip

We had a group of 11 stay for three nights and golf in the area. The property is clean and incredibly spacious for a group that size. The host is incredibly responsive - highly recommend the property for a nice weekend in Galena
