Fantastic home!

Great peaceful escape!

Our stay at the owl creek lodge was perfect for our yearly family trip. Very spacious with room for everyone, and we never felt crammed. Fully stocked kitchen, and they had everything we needed. We were surrounded my serene nature, but just a few minutes away from downtown Galena. Will definitely be staying again.

Summer Getaway

Friends Getaway

Every year we find a place in Galena to just hang out for the weekend. This one checked all the boxes! Large living space to watch all the March Madness we could handle, hot tub, huge kitchen. A comment from everyone was how comfortable the beds all were! Next year we won't be doing much looking around! We found a spot for many years to come with this gem!We did not get to utilize the fire place, but it would have been amazing! This property is very secluded as well.

Location is just miles outside of Galena but due to winding roads it is about a 15-20 min drive, which was expected. The entire property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a girl's weekend getaway trip. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The hot tub was perfect and fit all of us. We did not take advantage of the fire pit, but had it not been so cold out we absolutely would have. We loved the coziness of the fireplaces. Great kitchen for cooking! Great supply of games. The only negatives were, the entry door is downstairs so heavy coolers and such needed to be carried upstairs to the kitchen (main floor), and the narrow winding driveway (3 cars fit just fine). Overall, we had a fabulous time and look forward to visiting again!

Pulled up to a perfect full rainbow set low among the trees on the side of the property. Hot tub is a nice perk that we used after returning from the pool. Home was immaculate. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owner stocks more than a typical home rental which is very generous.
