« I came here with the goal of seeing the stars in a place with dark skies, and it did not disappoint. The cabin was perfect- everything was exactly as described. The kitchen had everything you’d need, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We loved the kitchen table- it was spacious enough for playing games together and enjoying our meals. « We had a wonderful time during our stay! The Octagon was clean and spacious! This was the perfect home to relax and unwind! We enjoyed the game room. We had great star viewing each night on the deck. The large fire pit was perfect for s’mores! We enjoyed exploring the land; checking out the creek, trails, and pond area. Joe was very responsive with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Just a couple notes and why we didn’t give 5 stars- the rooms were a little less private due to gaps...
