Perfect Vacation

Great place to stay with family. Low key location away from crowds, pristine beaches, good fishing, excellent views, close to downtown. Room was perfect for family of 4. Clean rooms and all the necessities provided was a nice touch. Pool, pickleball, grills on site, laundry, vending machines, etc. this place is truly a hidden gem.

Excellent view of Gulf. Clean beaches Great apartment. Challenge getting into door. Lock difficult to operate. Could not get TV remote to work as directed. Great air conditioning. Richard at front desk was great help!!!

Great place to relax

The condo was well supplied with all we needed, dishes, drip coffee pot (no blender) paper products, towels wash clothes, shampoo, body wash, beach towels, blow dryer, comfortable beds the list goes on and on. The pictures of the property are accurate. Check in was great no problems, very friendly, helpful staff. A nice quiet area with great views both from inside and out. Just a short drive to everything. The condo is small, about the size of a hotel room but nicer and better equipped, perfect for 1-3 people. We had 2 in our party. I would stay here again and recommend this property.

ISLANDER EAST HIGHRISE

Entry was super easy. The unit was extremely clean and comfortable. Didn't get to enjoy the balcony due to severe thunderstorms, but it looked like it was nice and with the perfect chairs. Unit had plenty of towels and the kitchen nook was well adorned. We didn't want for anything, other than the rain to stop. Overall, our trip was successful as we were able to do all that we had planned. I would suggest this unit because it was really nice.

Great Place

Location is away from the busy seawall and located on the beach. The condo is small as stated in the description, but they have done well with the available space. The facility itself is well maintained with friendly staff members. We had a great time during our stay here.

Nice quiet place

I am pleased with the place over all. Our room was smaller than i had expected but everything kind of just fit perfectly. The balcony provided a nice view..the beach being right out back of the building was great..and the hotel pool was wonderful...the actual tresemme shampoo and conditioner in the restroom was a nice touch.. The only 3 things that I was disappointed over was the bed seemed to be too far away from the air conditioning unit or I am not sure why the bed area by the restroom which is where I was sleeping just seemed to stay too warm overnight...another thing was the elevator seems like it needs maintenance as it was going slow and kind of jerking around.. the other issue was there were only super small pot, no lids to fit the 2 frying pans..also the only burner that worked on the stove was the right front one..the other 3 burners did not turn on...all in all I would give it 4 stars..and would go here again in the future.

Perfectly Peaceful Stay!

This condo is in SUCH a great location! Far enough away from the main crowds but close enough for a quick drive to everything. I almost had the beach to myself! I definitely recommend this unit for a getaway. All amenities were provided, the staff in the building were very helpful and accommodating. Such a great value, I will absolutely be returning for my next break from reality.

Perfect Location

Everything about the property was fantastic. They didn't have any paperwork about my stay at check in but it was sorted out quickly. Amenties were good, beds were very comfortable, and the beach was easily accessible and quiet. Will definitely stay again

Horrible Stay

The place was old, crowded with furniture, the bed was hard and we could not sleep, the sofa was hard, dirty and uncomfortable, the shower was clean but so slippery and there were no safety bars to hold on to making showering difficult, we were given half roll of toilet paper and no other, the outdoor chairs were hard and uncomfortable making even sitting on the balcony unenjoyable. The worst part is that my husband and I never left the property because we became so ill that we went home early! We spent a great deal of money on this vacation property and were completely unsatisfied!

Great weekend stay!

Perfect views from the top floor. Big enough for just the two of us to have a weekend getaway. The only downside is the cold water was pretty warm. The mini ceiling fan in the bathroom was a highlight and a good laugh.

Property mangers were very nice and willing to help. We had an issue with unlocking the door (our error) and she came right over with the maintenance guy.. it was a modern.place, had toiletries lots of clean towels, and some tea and coffee. The poool was nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach using a walkway. Beach was awesome and we had a nice view from our room. The beach is very private. I would stay here again.

Girls weekend success!

After not seeing my friend for over two years, we met up in Houston and drove the short ride down to Galveston. Location was perfect. Quick drive to the strand and Seawall dining. Pool was nice and clean. Condo was nice. Property is older, but well kept and the unit was updated. Mattresses were great!!

Nice Studio for a Couole

This was our fourth stay at Islander East. We love the location and laid-back vibe of the property. No street to cross to get to the beach, and great beach and Gulf views. This is the second studio unit we’ve booked, so we knew it would be tiny- like a hotel room with a kitchen. Good for a couple, but not ideal for more. The unit was clean and well-equipped. The decor is a little dark for our tastes, but that’s a little thing. It would feel more spacious without the extra Murphy bed, though I understand they are set up for renting to more than two people. Our only issue was with Soar Vacation Rentals, who manage the unit. When we called with a problem getting on WiFi, the person who answered sounded like she was having a really festive time, and had little concern about resolving our problem. (All lower-case, by the way. The password was incorrectly given as all uppercase, and then as capital at the beginning- both were wrong. Hope this helps.) I font know who owns this condo, but I’ve had better luck renting from individual owners who manage the rentals themselves.
