« Beautiful Villa, clean, neat, beds were very comfortable, nice gardens and beautiful views. Wonderful restaurant recommendations bu Monica and sincerely appreciated all the information prior to arrival. Cooking class was top notch and very enjoyable. Peiris was extremely helpful and every conceivable situation

« Our entire experience at Villa Merlo Nero was amazing! We simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the property, the staff, and the outside vendors that were recommended. We highly recommend utilizing Leonardo with Vakay Transportation for travel to and from the airport and also for day trips around Tuscany. « We had great expectations for our stay in Florence, and the communication with Stefania was great, the property has a lot of potential to be a great location, but is currently not as nice as explained. While the rooms are large and spacious, upon entering the space smelled like urine, we aired it out and sprayed multiple scents to assist, but it was tough. By opening the windows, it got better by the end of day 2... however that let in bugs and we got bitten up by mulitple spiders or mosquitos...

« We were a group of ten friends staying in Florence to celebrate a birthday. A warm welcome awaited us. The villa itself is sizable, though for a little extra we hired the cottage too. All the rooms are tastefully, ornately and traditional appointed while all the bathrooms (most are ensuite) are wonderfully modern. The grounds are extensive (you occasionally see the gardeners during the morning) affording you a privacy hard to find elsewhere in Florence. The lanai has a large table to seat all...

"The hotel is located in a perfect location and is near to all attractions. Breakfast is incomplete for early birds but it's ok. No soundproofing. You could hear the noise of cars all night long, as well as noises from the rooms and corridors."
