I loved this cabin very relaxing and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. There was a dual fireplace in kitchen side and den side was beautiful. There was a dog kennel with a pet bed and little blankets for my puppy dog . Also there was a lot of fun games and a family table with grill on back covered porch with a hot tub. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The cabin was very nice and very clean. My grandchildren loved the hot tub and the game room. But the driveway was very steep and difficult to navigate. Also was very difficult for myself and my mother and autistic son to navigate the the uneveness of the landscape. The younger ones went and did activities in the area. But the older ones mainly just stayed at the cabin because was hard getting in and it of vehicles on incline. The home was level inside and very comfortable. The host was very prompt in answering any concerns.

Great hideaway cabin

It’s cozy, with great views, a fantastic game room for the kids, while the adults can enjoy the hot tub under the stars. It’s close to the major attraction areas, while still being secluded in the mountains.

The house itself was wonderful! It was very clean. We only stayed for 4 nights and we ran out of toilet paper, trash bags and dishwasher pods, but other than that, it was well stocked with essentials. We loved the game room- the air hockey table was broken though. One huge bummer for us was that the pool wasn't open. The kids were really excited for a pool and never did get to go, but we enjoyed the hot tub! There is a bear in the area and the hot tub is right by the trees with no seperation/safety as others that we have stayed at in the past. I was unable to relax while keeping an eye out for the bear. That's nothing against the house- just a side note. Beds were all very comfortable. Showers are awesome. THE DRIVEWAY IS VERY STEEP and narrow. I really struggled to adjust from flat Indiana roads to this steep of a driveway- but got the hang of it after the first go. It is NOT very close to anything. Our drives were anywhere from 25 minutes to 1.5 hours. My bad for booking a little bit last minute on that one. I never got the access code to the house and had no service up in the mountains. Luckily, we arrived while maintenence people were leaving and they helped me connect to the WIFI so I could get in touch with the host. The host answered right away and was quick to help get us in! Overall, wonderful house. I think next time I'll try to find somewhere with a balcony hot tub and a bit closer to town! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here! The home was stocked with pretty much everything we needed. For us, the distance to town was perfect. The driveway is steep but caused us no issue. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again

First time visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area

The property was very clean and pet friendly. The beds were fairly comfortable. Communication was optimal with the home owner. The area was beautiful, however the driveway is narrow and steep. We were traveling with a full size truck and a midsize truck it was a very tight fit. However, I do believe the driveway would be fine with two average size cars. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub, we have visited other properties and the hot tub was not very powerful this one was perfect and clean. A word of advise the property may only be a few miles away from your attractions, however because of the speed limit and the terrain of the area it will take longer than expected to get to your destination. This is nothing negative about the property just a word of caution for people that were new to the area as we were. This property worked well for our mostly adult children and ourselves. We greatly enjoyed the game room.

Tennessee Vacation 2024

Loved our stay here, home was clean and quiet. Very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed the game room, especially the video game machine and air hockey.. Dogs loved it too. Home was equipped with 2 kennels for the dogs, which was very convenient. Home was well furnished, plenty of good coffee supplied but could use more dinner plates and better pans for pancakes, eggs and such. There is a griddle but no power cord so we couldn't use it. Hot tub was nice and relaxing, but patio cushions need to be replaced. Nice grill on covered patio, we used it alot, but bring your own charcoal and fluid. Very steep driveway, but 2 vehicles will fit at the top. We had a medium SUV and full size pickup truck parked. Andrea was in communication with us throughout the week and responded promptly to my emails. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend...Thank you...

Fantastic location

I am so glad we stayed here. The location was perfect! I had 3 kids with me and the game room was a game changer! After a long day hiking or exploring when I wanted to sit in a comfy chair and relax the arcade, karaoke machine, air hockey etc kept the kids busy while I relaxed by a fire. We allowed the kids to watch some extra TV and it was perfect having kids shows on the game room TV and whatever we wanted to watch in the main living area. The layout is perfect for knowing what the kids were up to while I made meals. The dining area is not as crowded as it looks in the picture. Absolutely planning to book here again in the future. It was so peaceful. One of us worked remote from the bedroom with the bunk beds a few days and the WIFI was fast- lots of meetings and no issues at all with video quality. My only regret is not staying longer.

Amazing

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin with the family and even our fur baby. The owner pretty much thought of everything to have at the cabin if you needed something. For the fur babies there were towels, beds, bowls, and crates. There were extra blow-up mattress and linens. It was very clean and cozy. Our family loved the game room and the living room, it's where we spent most of our time when we were there at the cabin. The kitchen was also amazing stocked with everything. The owner even provided a huge bowl up different K cups for coffee. We definitely would stay here again had an amazing time loved every minute of it.

Wonderful holiday week

Andrea's home is clean and so comfortable. We enjoyed lazy mornings by the fire before a quick drive into town. We always look forward to returning to the hideaway in the evening to unwind. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed and the kitchen. Andrea was great about keeping in touch during the week.

Our Fall Break wont stay here again.

The house itself was good. The cleanliness was not that good. I found a sheet of fried chicken in the oven, left by the last visitors, that was molded! The hot tub was in a whole in the back. it was not easy to get in. The game room was the best part of our stay, we all enjoyed it. The beds were comfy.

The house was great. My family and I had a wonderful time visiting the Smokies and enjoyed our stay. The house has plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained and everyone really lived the hot tub after long days out.

Beautiful property

We Loved staying here ! My mother , husband , son and I were so comfortable here! The hot tub was perfect for staying in when we wanted to BBQ. The game room with arcade was so fun for all of us ! The TVs in all rooms was perfect to relax in bed ! Andrea was the best host! Very responsive and emailed me to check in with how are stay was and all! I will definitely be booking with her for October !

Perfect Family Vacay Home

This home was perfect for our family stay. You can tell the owners were very thoughtful in all the extras they have available, fully stocked kitchen, pool/ jacuzzi, towels, supplies for your furry friends, even a couple different crate for them to stay comfortable in. Our kids also loved the game room. It was where we spent a lot of time when at the home. The area is a quiet escape, which is just what we needed. The landscaping outside is so well done making great space of the outdoors. I also can’t say enough good things about the responsiveness of the owner. You won’t be disappointed in staying here.

Perfect Vacation at The Hideaway

My family of 6 plus a pup just returned from a week long stay at The Hideaway. We loved this home! The cleanest and most well stocked VRBO we’ve ever had. The host is excellent and checked in with us after our first night to make sure everything was as expected. We cooked, played games, watched movies and had a wonderful phone free week together. Highly recommend this home.

Excellent Rental - Amazing Gameroom!

What a perfect rental this was for our family! The rental makes use of every inch of space it has. We used all 3 bedrooms and spent lots of time in the Gameroom during the evening, and even in little 15-minute increments between going places - it kept people off their phones, a happy consequence! The kitchen is well-stocked and the eating area is more spacious than you might think from the photos - we had a nice pasta meal one night. The rental was clean and nicely decorated with a modern cabin feel. The location of the rental allows you to be close to Gatlinburg but out of the craziness of the strip - something we valued. It is about a 15-minute drive to Food City and the liquor store, about a 25-minute drive to the entrance to the Park, and quite close to the artists' loop. All the roads in Gatlinburg are winding and steep - including the road to this cabin. The driveway is also steep and does require you to back down to leave. It is manageable. There is room for two cars. We did have a larger dog with us, and there was not much level land, but there was enough for her to find a space. Andrea was a great host. She communicated promptly with me before arrival and was very attentive to our needs once we arrived, checking to see that all was well after Day 1. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect getaway

House was beautiful. Kids enjoyed the game room. They love all the big tvs in each room. The dryer went out while we were staying there and the host got it fixed that day. Was so easy to deal with. Great location. Would stay here again.

2023 Spring Break Trip

This property was perfect for our stay in Gaitlinburg. It was close to the downtown area of Gaitlinburg, and just a short drive to the attractions in Pigeon Forge. The home was clean, updated, and offered many things to do if you just wanted to have a relaxing day at the house.The hot tub was a hit with our kids, and the game room was an added bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need to prepare a meal. We were also happy to see a pack n play available when we arrived, as we left ours at home. Our host was responsive and kind throughout our stay! Yes, the driveway is steep, but not unmanageable. Our preference was to back in and drive out of the driveway, rather than drive in and back out. Our only regret was not staying longer, there is so much to do in this area.

Great family getaway!

Stayed here for a family spring break getaway! The property is a nicely updated and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room and used both each evening. The location is good about 20 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Andrea is a wonderful host and responded to any questions I had very timely! The fact that the property is pet friendly is a huge plus and we would stay here again!

My experience with this listing was outstanding! This was my family's first time in Gatlinburg and we were impressed with how clean and spacious everything was as well as how professional and communicative our host was. We look forward to booking again in the future.
