We loved the location of the Cuddle Innâpeaceful, convenient, and close to all that Gatlinburg offers. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth, which we really appreciated. The jacuzzi tub and outdoor hot tub were both great features we enjoyed during our stay. However, the cabin could use some attention. It wasnât as clean as expectedâthere were spider webs in several areas, the floors werenât clean, and some dishes had been put away dirty. The carpet had worn spots, and the comforter had a small tear. An extra pillow was in the closet, but no pillowcase was provided. The ceiling fan turned on and off randomly, and a few lights didnât work. The shower looked recently updated and was very nice, but the bathroom needs a paint job and a towel hook. The shower curtain had some mildew. The kitchen had a standard coffee maker (not pod-style), but no coffee was provided. Ice was from trays, and while there was an ironing board, there was no iron. We were only given one small bar of soap for two adults for the entire week, and there was no washer/dryer.As a former short-term rental owner, I see great potential here, but more care and maintenance are needed to improve the guest experience.
Cozy is the best way to describe it. Despite small size it had everything needed for a vacation place. Since Gatlinburg is a place where you're outside and in the park, the small accomodation is fine for a regroup after a full day on the go.
Overall the cabin met most basic needs and looks like the pictures. Things we enjoyed: -The property management were responsive. -The location is good, only a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg. -The parking is sufficient as long there are no more than 2 other vehicles in the shared lot. -Good appliances, and AC worked. Things that could improve your stay:-The outdoor hot tub should have privacy blinds since the cabin is adjacent to others out front. -The cabin needs a deep cleaning to remove the odor of urine and soiled bedding and to clean the floors. We also noticed an old wasp nest in the wall.
The cabin was so cute could use a good deep cleaning but overall it was nice. No washer and dryer for our unit. They were not kidding about the bears and your vehicles we are going to need a new bed cover for our truck. They warned us and we didn't listen. It was a bit too hilly and far from town to walk so we had to pay to park. I would stay here again.
The cabin smelled like cigarette smoke. There were many wasp in the cabin. The dish washer didnât work. We did like the location. The hot tub was nice.
This was our second time staying in this cabin. It was fine but the carpet felt wet and there were several bugs. The back porch was not clean and swept and the grill was dirty. We asked for a check out one hour later and were told it would be 75.00 more after spending almost 1000.00. Never had any place take that stance. So probably wonât do it again
Great location, has great view, the bed and couch were comfortable. The only things that need attention is the hot tub and dishwasher. My husband and I never used it but hot tub had water sitting in it and the jets in the hot tub would turn on by itself. I turned on the dishwasher but the dishwasher soap wouldnât clean the dishes. Over all the cabin was great
Overall a great stay! Didnât have a stove but that was okay because we didnât need it. Loved the jacuzzi. Location to downtown was ideal. Thank you!
Overall, nice stay for the price. Pros - location, ease of access, check in process, and price. Cons - WiFi is terrible, need some shades around the hot tub, ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer, no keurig. Needs a good spring cleaning
We like staying in the Red Bud Lane, Laurel Drive area. It's walkable for humans and pets. The cabin was nice for our stay. Our 2 small dogs liked being able to sit on the small porch to watch for squirrels, etc. The little road loop is a nice place to walk dogs and walking down the hill to town is doable. Many people probably enjoy the indoor jacuzzi but it would be nice to have that space for a small table and 2 chairs. I know that would be a huge expense for the property owners - just a thought for any future upgrades. The shower must have been newly upgraded and was very nice. Only other thought was that the Roku streaming service didn't seem to have regular broadcast tv channels. It may have been that we're just not familiar enough with the service. Maybe leave some info for the use of Roku. We didn't call for help so that's on us. We were enjoying the beautiful week in the Smokies, colors and weather were outstanding so the TV was not the first thing on our minds.
I would not recommend this cabin. There was dog hair all over the bed sheets and pillows that looked like none of it had been washed. The carpet also smelled like dog urine and after I had called the owner they acted fine about and seem to not really care. They told us that the maid would not come back out til the next day to give us clean blankets and pillows and suggested that we just take everything off the bed and sleep on the mattress. All we got was sorry for all the problems that occurred. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
