"A unique place in a truly remote setting. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the rooms were impeccably clean, and the hotel grounds were green and pleasant. There are, however, some inconveniences. Dining at the hotel requires prior reservations, which is unusual given that the only other nearby option is a single restaurant at another hotel. This lack of choice reduces comfort. The beach is not within walking distance, but a small shuttle train runs regularly. Unfortunately, the road is so dusty and broken that passengers arrive covered in dust. Paving this short stretch would make a big difference. The rooms, though spotless, are quite dated—for example, our bathroom door didn’t close properly. Public transport in the region is notoriously poor, which is not the hotel’s fault, but considering the remote location, an agreement with local taxi services would greatly improve guest experience. Instead, the staff rely on private contacts and suggest booking taxis a day in advance, or ideally coming by car. For reference, calling a taxi from Lecce is no problem. That said, despite these shortcomings, our overall stay was very good, and the sea was absolutely magnificent."

"Un bel hôtel, rien à dire sur la propreté, la gentillesse du personnel, la piscine, le calme, le confort et le petit déjeuner. Cependant pour un hôtel 5 étoiles il y a des choses à améliorer. Porte de la chambre qui ouvrait à peine à cause du frottement sur le sol, signalé, personne n’est venu, commande de boissons en bord de piscine oubliée 2 fois, eau gazeuse vendue mais périmée depuis 4 mois plus de gaze ok changée, pas de lumière dans salle de bain que celle du miroir, boisson servie dans des verres en plastique, prix exorbitants pour un spritz 15€ ou pizza 20€, personnel gentil serviable mais peu compatible pour un 5 étoiles. Ce sont des détails, qui n’entache pas notre séjour de 2 nuits. "

"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen direkt an der Strandpromenade von Otranto, zahlreiche Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Altstadt und der Strand sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und eingerichtet, mir war die Matratze zu hart - das ist aber auch schon der einzige Punkt, den ich zu bemängeln habe. Das Personal von den Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption über die Reinigungsdamen bis zu den Mitarbeitern beim Frühstück sind sehr freundlich und kompetent. Der Parkplatz ist gleich gegenüber, etwa 70 Meter entfernt, Informationen zum Parken erhielten wir im Vorfeld auf Anfrage per Mail, die Kosten halten sich mit 8 Euro pro Tag in Grenzen. Alles in allem würden wir das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und auch selbst wieder buchen."
