« I was a little hesitant to book this because of the reviews on vrbo however, Im glad I went with my gut and booked it. It was clean, stocked with towels, wash cloths, bedding. The AC was cold! It was cozy and inviting. The intricacies of the build were impressive. The yard was spacious for our dogs to play. There was a nice sitting area outside however because summers are brutal we didn't really get to enjoy. We loved the big shade tree. It wasnt in town but it was close enough to get door dash...

« We loved the location and the views. The fire pit was nice to enjoy in the evenings. The hot tub was nice/clean. Furniture is new and excellent condition-couch, coffee table, kitchen table and plenty of outdoor seating. The heating and cooling system was very easy to use considering the fluctuation of the temperatures while we were there. could use some more silverware and we had to walk to the neighbors house to borrow a can opener. « Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. »

« Great place to stay. As soon as we opened the door we were impressed. As noted in description it is near hiking trails with lots of waterfalls. Only semi-drawback is the cell phone signal is nonexistent in house. But as noted there is a little up close to road. We spent one day exploring forest roads in our 4wd Toyota FJ and next day hiking. Host is extremely helpful with suggesting hikes to waterfalls. We will be back. »
