„This place was fantastic and the owner was so sweet, even called to speak with us and let us know of fun things to do! That’s next level customer service. We were familiar with the area but for those who are not it’s super helpful I’m sure. The place decor is so comfortable and welcoming. Spacious for family of 5 or more. „Perfect house for what we needed! We were celebrating my daughter turning 9 with a trip to Tweetsie. We also did the alpine coaster & grandfather mountain. This house was situated between all of them. My children each brought a friend, so the bedrooms upstairs were perfect for that. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils. The beds were comfy. The children loved the downstairs game room & hot tub. My only issue- no hair dryers. The description stated each bathroom had a hairdryer ...

„Great cabin on a mountain! Wooden rocking chairs and a porch swing made for great porch sitting. The beautiful scenery and extremely comfortable beds helped make this stay amazing. Fresh air from open windows at night was just what the doctor ordered. Driveway is a little bit of an adventure for motorcycles but still doable for advanced riders. “

„This is a wonderful house! We celebrated a graduation with 9 family members. We were so fortunate because the weather was cool in the evenings and we got to use the fire pit, which was large enough to accommodate all of us, every night. The huge wrap around porch was the site for morning coffee, drinks, dinners and lots of conversations.I can easily imagine returning for a longer visit.“

„The Read Retreat was a perfect little cabin with all the “essentials!” It is “UP” the mountain on a few twisty roads but, it’s not a bad drive at all and is in a good location to surrounding areas. We had lots of deer sightings and one black bear as well! I would highly recommend the Read Retreat!“
