„Great location, great accommodations! “

„The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. “

„It was an amazing weekend everyone is so nice around. the house is older but beautifull place to stay with your family the beech is Absolutely amazing. Hope we can rent this special gem again in the future “

„It was off season for the water activities but that didn’t change the view or ability for the kids to play in the sand being right on the beach. We were able to spread out in the house as needed. Easy access to I-64“

„House was just as advertised. The waterfront was amazing and the communication from the manager was excellent. Would definitely return. “

„We had a wonderful time here. Easy booking and check in. Host was very responsive. Got everything needed from kitchen, bedroom and bbq grill.The beach was lovely too, not crowded with beautiful sunset. Over all it was a great weekend stay for all of us.“

„Stay was very enjoyable. Close proximity to the beach, but does require crossing a main road. Home was very clean. Two minor inconveniences but did not impact overall trip. One could’ve been user error. Could not get outlets to work in one of the rooms and the second was a light bulb went out in a bathroom which we swapped with another extra bulb in a different room. “

„Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last.“

„It was a work weekend and the cottage was close to the job. (We’re out of Richmond Va)Reason for the 4 star on the listing:Showed the bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Actually there are only 1 double and 1 single. No worries though we made it work and it was perfect for us. Will probably book again if y’all will have us.Thanks for letting us stay.“

„We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. “

„Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. This cottage has all the amenities of a hotel, plus more. Full kitchen with provided cookware, one and a half bathrooms, large dining room and family room. Outside is as beautiful as it is inside, with a nice private, fenced yard to just relax in. Perfect location within walking distance to the beach and Water St festivities. There isn't anything negative to write about. Would highly recommend.“

„Lovely cozy cottage with ideal location near Kiptopeke State Park. This was our second stay and we enjoyed ourselves as much this year as last year! Very peaceful, clean, and convenient 15 minute drive to town of Cape Charles. Highly recommend!“

"Super Lage direkt am Strand, immer viel Platz am Strand, Restaurants und Supermarkt in Gehdistanz, gutes Gym (leider funktionierte Klimaanlage nicht wirklich), genügend und grosse Pool-/Strandtücher. Personal am Front Desk nicht übermässig freundlich. Housekeeping nicht zuverlässig, obwohl zumindest kleiner Service jeden Tag versprochen wurde beim Check in. Sofa im Zimmer mit vielen Flecken, Balkon könnte mal gewischt werden, Teppich etwas unappetitlich. "
