„Loved how peaceful the property was. Loved the cozyness of the hotel and the old charm. We brought our pups and the grounds were well maintained and perfect to walk the pups around. We were able to stroll over to the winery for a free tasting. Breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. It was just what we were looking for for our short weekend getaway! “
„We enjoyed our night’s stay at this property and felt safe. However, the door to room 312 was not tightened properly. We used the upper latch to help secure it even more.
Hot breakfast was decent, typical continental style…eggs, sausage, waffles, bread to toast, packets of hot cereal, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. No complaints. The attendant was kind and friendly.
Overall, we would return to the property. It’s accessible to nearby restaurants, shops, and the Newport News/Williamsburg ...

"Super Lage direkt am Strand, immer viel Platz am Strand, Restaurants und Supermarkt in Gehdistanz, gutes Gym (leider funktionierte Klimaanlage nicht wirklich), genügend und grosse Pool-/Strandtücher.
Personal am Front Desk nicht übermässig freundlich. Housekeeping nicht zuverlässig, obwohl zumindest kleiner Service jeden Tag versprochen wurde beim Check in. Sofa im Zimmer mit vielen Flecken, Balkon könnte mal gewischt werden, Teppich etwas unappetitlich. "

"The rug is very old, stains on all chairs, 3 pillows covers had to be replaced because they had make up and dirt on them. The other room we reserved didn't have any pillowcases on them. Bathtub had rust in diverse places. Air conditioner was very loud and right on one bed and blew the cold air directly on the bed. After turning off the AC you could still hear the AC from outside of the other rooms. Breakfast was Cookies, Muffins, prepacked fruit salad and Joghurt."
