We had such a beautiful weekend getaway! The scenery was gorgeous, with plenty of trails for hiking and a great pond for fishing. It was so peaceful and the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time with family. Our dogs had an absolute blast running around and exploring, they didn’t want to leave! Rosie and Joe were awesome hosts, so kind and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything about the trip was relaxing, refreshing, and exactly what we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

A magical place

We had such an amazing time .. Joe goes above and beyond! There is something very special about this place .. the vibe is amazing .. the pool was used everyday we were there .. the kitchen is very well equipped .. the fire pit by the pond was very nice .. the decks are amazing .. we really enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them .. we sat outside on the deck every night watching the fireflies and enjoying the most peaceful surroundings .. we will definitely be back!

Relaxing stay

We’ve stayed here for Memorial Day weekend.Unfortunately weather was not so good and too cold to enjoy swimming pool but we really enjoyed using fire stove while we were there.The house was well stocked and clean and there is everything what we needed.The location of the property was really private and quiet.It was perfect to be relaxed.The huge yard was really well maintained.My 3 years old son was enjoy strolling.We went to farmer’s market and Alpaca farm.The owner came by and brought sticky bun from a local market.It was very yummy.Thank you so much to let us stay beautiful country house.We wish we can come back here again in warmer time!

Perfect stay

My fiancé and I were looking to get away from the city and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. It was the perfect cozy cottage to unwind and enjoy a beautiful snowfall. The pups had a blast in the snow. I will definitely be back to experience a summer getaway. Rosie’s communication was great and she was ten steps ahead of everything needed for snowstorm.

Quiet, secluded, home away from home

Exactly what my family needed, clean, quiet, fun and exciting property to explore. House had everything we needed and movie selection was a hit with the kids. So much wildlife to appreciate, deck sitting for relaxing, big screens for vedging out. Had a great time and owners were very responsive and courteous. Stay with confidence, we’d go back 100%.

Cozy cabin with amazing views! My sisters and I had a wonderful time hanging out around the pool and pond. In the evenings we would cook out and play cards. Very peaceful and relaxing!! The owner Joe was a great host! Definitely would rent again!!

The place was beautiful and full of nature. It has a very nice and enjoyable pool, a grill and it’s very close to town. The experience with friends over the weekend was very fun and the owners were very kind and on top of things when we needed anything!

Amazing Relaxing Country Getaway!

Uncle Joe and Rosie made us feel so comfortable and welcomed from the very first message until the very last minute of our stay. Uncle Joe was always ready to come out and meet us within minutes to address anything we needed. He was very attentive, he stopped by to check the pool and bring us some baked goods ! It was a true pleasure meeting such kind and thoughtful folks like them. We felt very comfortable considering we had never been there before . We went out to explore the town and saw local vendors on Saturday and supermarket Tops was very convenient . Uncle Joe encourage us to visit a near by farmers market and left us a $25 credit which we definitely used for goodies. The cottage its very nice , we cooked , we grilled all while enjoying the beautiful scenic view. We relaxed by the pool deck everyday and ended with an evening bonfire by the pond then movies in the cozy living room area. Definitely the city detox we needed.

Beautiful cottage surrounded by nature

Uncle Joe's cottage is a gem. My family and I rented this getaway for 4 nights and were blown away by just about every detail. The cottage has all modern amenities included heat, AC, big screen TVs, Internet, etc. The pool was great to beat the summer heat and the pond offered a beautiful view to sit and reflect. Our stay came with a $25 credit for baked goods at a nearby farm. We missed the opportunity to use it but Uncle Joe dropped by himself to deliver a snack from them. The property is close to Hancock Town center and a 20 minute drive to Calicoon which has an awesome farmers market on Sunday. All in all, we had a great time.

Perfection

Came to pick up our daughter from camp! It was our first time. It was truly an amazing space. Everything was a pictured and we explored the incredible grounds and were created with fresh pies and treats! None of us wanted to leave and we can’t wait to make it back!

Everything we wanted and more

The property itself was just as cozy as listed but the photos, which showed such beautiful settings did not give justice to just how amazing the scenery really was. Absolutely stunning and peaceful location. Rosie and Joe were incredible with their communication and were right on top of a minor issue that occurred with the kitchen sink. All rentals should be this perfect !!!! Thanks again for the carrot cake and sticky buns Joe.. You're the best !!!!

Idyllic spot

The cottage was comfortable and well outfitted. “Uncle Joe” is a very generous host and made our stay special. Great fishing, swimming and bird watching in this bucollic spot. The kids had a ball and we loved the fire pit at night for campfire s’mores.

Wonderful getaway

Love the area! The house was really good for four adults and a dog. Great property. Ping pong added plus, as was the wood burning stove. Joe was very responsive to our requests.

Upstate mini vacation

The house and property were exactly as pictured. The house was clean and had a brand new fridge, fire pit and ping pong table. Joe was excellent to deal with via text. We really had a nice time at the cabin. It is a super quiet area Joe was nice enough to supply us with fishing poles and lures so we could fish at the larger pond on the adjacent property. We also really enjoyed playing ping pong outside. I would highly recommend this property.
