Decor is a wee bit tired in the bedrooms and bathroom but the kitchen is fantastic with the fridge, freezer and induction hob. Host ignored Expedia message request for use of (non-existent) sofa bed and instead sent a direct email with door code. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. « Alors le chalet est bien isolé et le calme est charmant, nous sommes à une très courte distance d’une magnifique forêt 🌳. Si vous aimez marcher ou courir c’est parfait. Le chalet était bien propre et on avait quelques produits de fourni ce qui est très pratique. Sachez toutefois la laveuse est très petite donc vous aurez plusieurs brasser à prévoir. Aussi, il n’y a pas de sécheuse, on doit étendre le linge pour le sécher. S’il fait beau c’est parfait mais dans le cas contraire prévoyez un plan...

« Fantastic lodge, peaceful and quiet, a nice private loch we had all to ourselves with free rowing boat and life jackets, great location and base to goto tourist places such as Fort George, whisky tours, John O Groats, Nairn Beach, Dornoch Firth. People have said some of the innards of the lodges are a little dated, this is true, but doesn't spoil it at all for us, as the location and site is fantastic.... wildlife on site, Kevin the naughty goose, deer, Highland cows, horses, chickens etc....
