« The house is a great fit size wise and room wise for a large group. Our 4 families each had private space and also found the common areas perfect for the group to gather around. However, the hot tub consistently had problems staying on. Because of this it also didn't filter well and was cloudy by the second day. This is the second year staying here with problems with the hot tub. »

« Beautiful home in a great location! Extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. Margaretville is close by for shopping. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals but if you’re looking for a nice dinner out the Hidden Inn in South Kortright is outstanding. Paula is a great host and available if needed. Highly recommend this home ! Will definitely be back again! »

« Came to do some hiking with some friends. Central location if you are looking to do the fire towers! House as described, though with an older home, the doors are a little wonky. Kitchen pretty well supplied, could use a pasta pot and regular frying pans (there is a cast iron pan). The crock pot was a plus! Nice Solo Stove out back - we were lucky with the weather and had a nice cocktail hour outside! »

« It was a great spot for all three generations to be together for the holiday. House was clean and close to lots of hikes. Hosts were available. »

« The host was lovely however I regret to say that the place was filthy. The cluttered kitchen had a layer of grime on everything, all the dishes and pots and pans looked dirty, the garbage pail in the kitchen hadn't been emptied, the box holding the paper towels was dusty and full of crumbs, and the tea kettle was so grungy that I didn't even want to touch it. The water in the bathroom sinks smelled like sulphur. The downstairs toilet was so noisy and running all night that it kept me up most...

« 5/5 stars! The home was darling! Anika and Ahsan were incredibly responsive. The house was well stocked, clean, and filled with attentive amenities for guests to use and enjoy. There was a snowstorm while we were there and someone came early to plow and shovel our pathway. We received a detailed guide for local activities and establishments. Would love to visit again! »

« It’s like finding a geode. Love our short but sweet stay in this restored farmhouse. It has all the right modern touches while maintaining some of the original features including a lovely red barn door. We would stay again if ever in this beautiful, historic part of NY in the future. »
