Condo was as described. Easy access to the beach and pool area. Plenty of space for my entire family. Plenty of games for the kids to enjoy. Kitchen was fully stocked and had anything and everything we could possibly need. Pull out sofas could use some attention. The couch itself appears to be fairly new, however housekeeping has not been cleaning the bedding or clearing food items that have fallen while the sofa bed was in use. On the first night, we pulled them out for the kids to sleep on and the mattress pad had not been changed. It looked and smelled like ketchup so management delivered a new mattress pad. There was also a ton of food wrappers, bugs and food crumbs behind the couch when the sofa was pulled out. Kids were too afraid to sleep on the bed itself so they resorted to sleeping in their parents rooms or on top of the couch itself. Overall, we still had a great vacation!

Condo provided enough room, my family has stayed in Beachwalk for many years so the location is great. Condo has been renovated and appears to still be renovating (paint, tools, etc…in closets). Some renovations are careless and not nice looking. Condo had an odd smell when we arrived…come to find out, there was a dead rat in the living room (had been there so cleaning crew didn’t do the best). Power went out in the master bathroom, closet, and vanity area twice during our stay. All these issues were handled by the management fairly quickly.

The unit was nicely appointed and consistent with the pictures. However, we had a few problems with the rental. Most concerning - rodents nibbled on any food on the counters one night, causing us to dispose of a lot of fruit/food. The unit needs better pest control! In addition, the property manager printed out incorrect gate passes (causing us to be detained and questioned upon entry after a few days), and the upstairs AC broke. To be fair, the property manager fixed the parking passes (next day), and was diligent in getting an HVAC service to repair the unit (same day), but it would have been nice to have avoided those problems during our stay -- especially with no apologies or offers of accommodations for our trouble or loss of food. Other than these issues, the unit was very nice, and the updates are tasteful and comfortable. However, I would be concerned about the rodents in this unit and would think twice about this area of Shipyard in general (Beachwalk) as we were told that the rodent problem is an issue there.

Place was as described. Two floors was bonus. Loved that there were 3 1/2 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Nice to sit on back deck for morning coffee. Short walk/ bike to Beach. AMAZING Sunrises!

We had such a wonderful vacation here! It was the perfect size for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, just minutes from the beach on a walking path. The resort is peaceful and relaxing, and the unit itself is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We also really enjoyed our nightly bike rides!

Had a wonderful time together. We did enjoy the access to the beach with babies. Some crumbling tile work on the floor. Handle on sliding door was broken off and sitting on a table. Bugs were not bad, which is a huge plus for me. Parking is an issue. Not enough spaces. Wished there was at least one designated spot per villa. Overall, mostly happy with the villa.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beachwalk unit within the Shipyard community. Under 10m easy walk to the beach. The unit was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious. Nice TVs in each room and super comfy living room made for a fun hang out area. We look forward to returning!

Spent thanksgiving here with our family and everything was perfect. We’ll equipped kitchen 2 separate living areas which was ideal and three very comfortable bedrooms. Also very convenient to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great location as it’s a quick little bike ride or a 10 minute walk (depending on how much stuff you bring). There is. Bike path right near the turn so you don’t have to walk with kids through the parking lot. Very comfortable beds and it’s really nice to have the two separate sitting rooms for kids to play games in and adults to hang out and chat in the other. It was a nice stay overall.

My family and I have been visiting Hilton Head yearly for over 20 years now. I always try to stay in the Beachwalk complex due to its close proximity to the beach and it’s location in the Shipyard. This property was as described and has new owners that are doing a great job with this condo. They have replaced many things and seem to be planning on more. I like that the property has 2 pullout couches on the first floor. We only used the one in the main living room area but it was nice to have options. The owners ask that the outdoor furniture is covered at the end of everyday which we did but I’m not sure how many visitors will actually comply with that request as it is a little time consuming to do daily. I also only gave this condo an average rating for cleaning as I found 2 dried up contact lenses on my comforter in the master bedroom and I reswept the kitchen/ additional living room area when we arrived because it was still a little dirty but that wasn’t a big deal to me. The condo has a well equipped kitchen and there are also lots of games, 2 bikes, a cart and a few other beach items for use. We didn’t use them but wanted to note because it can be nice to have those things if needed.
