„This was our third trip to the same cottage and it was another fantastic holiday! The rooms are immaculate with plenty of space for our group (4 adults, 4 children). The kitchen is well stocked with glasses, crockery, cooking utensils as well as fresh bread and cake! We always feel well looked after and Pip is a fab host with a personal touch. Thank you!“

„Rundum klasse! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Für eine Familie genug Platz und auch an Kinder ist gedacht (Kindergeschirr, Spielzeug, Hochstuhl…). Der Vermieter ist jederzeit erreichbar und hat auch tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Einkäufe. Die Lage ist klasse mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über das Holme Valley, man erreicht die größeren Städte sowie auch Wandergebiete gut. Wie kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.“

„Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.“

„Fantastic stay. Please dont be put off by the lack of reviews on here. Myself and 3 friends had a brilliant long weekend. The cottage is nicely decorated and very clean. Bedding and towels were included (the description for the cottage says otherwise, but they are there). A full working kitchen with all the equipment you need. The log burner was set up and ready to go to. The only thing missing was shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, so take that with you. Everywhere else was very well ...

„It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.“

„Das Cottage ist geschmackvollrenoviert und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Von der Beschreibung her "liegt an der Hauptstraße " hatte ich bei so einem kleinen Ort nicht dermaßen viel Verkehr erwartet.... Wohn- und ein Schlafzimmer gehen zur Straße raus und sind laut. Zum Glück hat das unseren Teanagern nichts ausgemacht und wir konnten das hintere Zimmer nehmen. Hebbdon Bridge ist eine Reise wert! Sehr schön. Auch die Bahnanbindung ist sehr gut und man muss nicht überall mit dem Auto ...

„Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely “
