« The house was comfortable and warm, with lovely views and perfectly good facilities (4g signal is good so didn't miss wifi). It was nice to come back to during those days when the weather was wild. Everything I needed in a place to stay. Not too far from Castlebay so easy to get food and fuel. Will definitely stay there again if available next time I am on Barra. Barra itself was fantastic and a very friendly place, with some stunning coastline to explore from the sea when the weather allowed! »

« The property is spacious, clean and warm. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and easy to use with plenty of hot water. The open plan kitchen and dining room are well equipped and an excellent meeting hub. Located near the ferry, fuel and shop this is well located for a North Uist holiday. »

« Had a great week in the superb Kettle Cottage, great location with open views to the sea - great sunsets. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedroom had loads of space and bed very comfortable. Great walks from the cottage door or short drive away. All round great week and would hope to return »

« Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and cosy with gorgeous artwork by one of the owners. Surrounded by wildlife. Pond in the garden with waterlilies and a gate down to the lochan. Everything was spotless and felt new. »
