Walking distance was perfect to downtown Manteo for shopping and dining. Gia, the property manager was a gem. She checked in with us frequently via email to assure we had everything we needed. « I stayed at this cottage at the end of May 2025 with my spouse, parents, and dog. It was a great vacation! The cottage had ample parking (3 spaces available), and all the basics needed. The cottage is 5 minute walk from the beach, and just be mindful that you have to take a staircase over the dunes in order to actually access the beach, so if you bring a lot of umbrellas and chairs and things you'll probably need to make a couple trips. « Everything was great - location was two blocks from the beach. Nicely decorated, lots of very new appliances, fixtures, and furnishings. Loved the beds - foam mattresses just the right firmness. Very clean which I appreciated (I’m the AO one in the family). Even had a single serve kuerig and some kcups! Really enjoyed the beach bikes and game room. Super easy to communicate with the property owner/manager. Would have rented this again for the following weekend but was booked. Highly recommend...

« This place is absolutely amazing. It’s gorgeous and has everything you need. The beach cart was so nice to have to walk to the beach. The walk is super easy, took us about 8 minutes. The outdoor shower was a favorite and many of us would use it instead an indoor shower. The porches are amazing for lounging outdoors and enjoying nature and the firepit is a nice touch.
