„Simcoe island is quiet and beautiful. Lots of cows, deer, and different species of birds. Wolfe island has a corner store to stock up on basic supplies (drinkable water). The ferry ride from Kingston to Wolfe island can be a long wait, 1-2 hours. The beach on the property is limestone, make sure to wear water shoes to prevent slipping. Our kids had fun in the waves, which can get quite big when it’s windy. We really enjoyed big sandy beach on Wolfe island - $60 for a family - but well worth it. ...

„The cottage was easy to find and kept up nicely. The lake was calm and right by our door. There is a firepit and bbq to use. Paul the property manager was helpful and responsive. The cottage could use more basic amenities, such as baking trays, salt/pepper, coffee filters, broom, etc. The downsides were the oven not working properly, the canoe needed repair (seat was broken), there was only one smelly/dirty adult lifejacket, and the dock/beach could really use some upkeep.“
