« The house is beautifully redone. Love the tin ceiling accents and coffee options included. The laundry room with nice washer and dryer were super helpful on a family trip. Plenty of blankets, sheets, etc. also plenty of dishes to cook a family meal. The neighborhood is quiet and so peaceful. Would stay again. »

« I have so many wonderful things to say about this property! From the start, Donna was wonderful to communicate with! We stayed from Friday and Sunday and it was the perfect spot for us. Great location. Beautiful home. Tons of space. Essentials stocked. Fun extras. We had room to spread out, and then room to come together for a nice family weekend. The kids espscially loved the arcade game, and the hanging chair/hammock outside! We enjoyed playing games and relaxing in several wonderful spaces...

« Although my group stay was short…the place was amazing. Vintage historic place that was amazingly upgraded with nice amenities. Location was perfectly located in the heart of Springfield. I would definitely recommend this place to stay if coming to Springfield. »

« Was perfect place to stay for my nieces graduation. We had a lot of family in town and rented both this one and the one next door. Had more than enough room for everyone. Ours was clean and beds were comfortable. »

« We really enjoyed our stay as we checked out all things Lincoln in Springfield. Only 15 to 20 min drive to downtown! Quiet countryside setting surrounded by fields and cornfields. Saw several deer in the fields out back and one right off the front porch. Communication with the host was great and check-in process was super easy. Great price and very clean and comfortable environment. Also, the shower with the jets was very popular with the kids. Would definitely stay there again if in the area! »

« My friends and I needed a place to stay for a wedding downtown and this was the perfect place! We loved having a full bath on each of the 3 floors and appreciated how quiet and residential the area was. It was a 5-10 minute drive to everything we needed. We were able to get groceries nearby, walk to restaurants, and felt very safe. Finding parking was a breeze. The house itself was perfect for our needs. One thing to note is one of the "bedrooms" is located at the back of the top floor landing...

« We enjoyed the stay so much. There were a few hiccups, and due to the heat the house could greatly benefit from upgraded AC but we would definitely come stay again. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and we were close to everything we needed. »

« We were very happy with Southwood House! Clean, well-maintained, and in a great location! Everything worked as it should, and check in/check out was a breeze! Karen, our host, was very kind and patient, and was super responsive! We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it (and Karen) to anyone visiting Champaign-Urbana! »

« Hospitality and communication were great. Everything we needed was available. It was nice having family together and room to spread out a bit when not at the IHSA Ind. State Wrestling Championship. Comments were already made about hopefully returning next year. »
