Unfortunately this would be a bad experience for my family and I. It is in a nice area on isle of palms and a quick walk to the beach. On the down side rooms and doorways were covered in mold/mildew. The kitchen spout exploded off when my wife turned the water on and was then not useable due to the threads being stripped and was clearly an issue that hadn’t been fixed. Back porch lights did not work so it made the back patio unusable at night. The other stuff was minor, but the mold/mildew was not. Not only did the place smell it had mold/mildew growing all along the crown molding. Next I messaged the host that took over a day to respond and only responded once I contacted vrbo. The host responded saying there was nothing they could do because it was the holiday weekend. We ended up leaving early since my wife is pregnant and I didn’t feel comfortable having her in the house.
