1. I was charged before I even physically checked in. I was planning to pay cash as Expedia booking advised I could pay at the hotel.
2. I did not get the room that I reserved.
At the moment I was going to complain since it was just about midnight. Was put in a double queen room.
4. They put me in a room with a conjoined door.
I’m a woman traveling alone with 2 children. I did not feel safe.
5. Got into the room, the light switch did not work. They had 2 lamps in the room, and it was freezing.
6. There were dirt smears all over the wall next to one of the beds.
7. The window was unlocked - glad I checked it.
8. Black mold in the shower on the ceiling.
9. The tv, coffee maker, fridge, microwave were plugged in an extension that was plugged into an extension.
10. The neighbors dog was loud and barking all night which honestly not even that big of deal.
11. The tv didn’t even work.
12. The closet was nasty along the walls and where trim should be.
13. Old looking, peeling, wall paper in the closet.
All in all was a HUGE disappointment.
I stayed at La Quinta the night before, was $50 cheaper, they gave my cat treats, everything worked and it was very clean.
