« The hotel is certainly not up to the standard of a 5 star as well as the price they charge. Our room was supper dirty and we had to ask for a change. The next room was acceptable but still very dirty. The rooms look run down and not well maintained.
We did the Tepaniaki experience and were charge 130 ⏠which is a LOT in Sri Lanka and it was no where near a real Tepaniaky experience. I recommend you avoid it! Do not take a Tintin from any of the staff they are in on it with the one parked across...

« Staff was wonderful, highly recommend. Rooms were cleaned daily, the rooms were functional, the property it self is a bit old, but still very beautiful. Private secluded beaches, you just cant beat the views and how private it is. I initially only had the reservation for 3 days, but extended it to a week. Highly recommend! »

« This place is a dream, the domain is so beautiful and well maintained. Room was super nice and well designed. The infinity pool is absolutely magical. Only a couple of things to note, itâs quite remote so tuktuk fees are to be expected (donât book via hotel to avoid paying double) and restaurant serves expensive fusion food only. »

« Wir verbringen gerade einige Tage in der Villa Alba. Es ist eines der schönsten Hotels, in denen ich je war! Das offene Design, mitten in der Natur, eins mit der Umgebungen und den dort lebenden Tieren - es ist einmalig. Es ist total ruhig gelegen aber trotzdem nicht weit zum Stadtkern. Die Zimmer sind super groĂ, bequeme Betten, man hat alles, was notwendig ist.
Das Personal ist so lieb und zuvorkommend. Unsere Reise verspÀtete sich aufgrund des Fluges etwas, aber der liebe Sicherheitsmann hat...

« Amazing hotel. Great staff, very boutique feeling with amazing decoration (balinese style). We stayed with our 3 children (9,7,2) in a family room, room 206, and the hotel felt perfect for kids. The pool has a shallow area, the beach area is safe and the hotel lended us some bodyboards for our older kids to play with in the sea. Note that the bedroom balcony doors do not close 100% by design so you will heqr the waves at all time (which we liked to go to sleep) but it may not be for everybody....

« The villa was in a fabulous location right on a beach with clean, golden sand. The villaâs bedrooms were spacious, clean and each had its own on suite. Our extended family of 14 enjoyed the deck near the large swimming pool and also the deck chairs near the water. The staff looked after us like royalty and the chef and kitchen staff cooked us some delicious food. All in all we had an amazing week at South Point Villa and I thoroughly recommend it as an excellent place to stay. »

« Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow.
Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels donât like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. »

« Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building.
Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops.
I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience. »
