Number of rooms and location were positive

Things we didn't like: I made three attempts to contact the property manager by phone and email and never heard from him. We had an issue with the alarm system chirping continuously and ended up diagnosing and fixing the problem ourselves. A lot of corrosion was evident on fixtures and metal work due to the salt air I am sure. The right side sink in the master bath only had one faucet that worked; the left side faucet was frozen solid and could not be turned on. There were no operating instructions for the electric range top and it took a few attempts to get that working as needed. There was no dishwasher soap that we could find. There were no instructions on when to take the garbage to the curb. There were no instructions on the entertainment system in the living room. Trial and error again. Things we liked. Location, location, location. And the number of beds and bedrooms. We watched the locals celebrate their hometown American Idol victor Iam Tongi while we were there.

Fantastic location

This large home was everything we needed for a vacation with our family on Oahu. Walk across the streets to fantastic food trucks, just a few minutes up the road from turtle beach and a great surf lessons at Jamie O'Brien, quiet despite the hospital next door, and everything we needed to cook for our family was all there!!!!

Perfect choice

Wonderful house for family. Well stocked kitchen and many games and beach toys for my grandkids. Close to beaches, Waimea falls and Polynesian cultural center. Enjoyed all.

Was Ok

The kitchen sink drain was very slow, causing a problem with the dishwasher. Not all of the outlets worked in the house. The internet was spotty and slow. The TV was Apple TV and trying to use it with an internet connection was not ideal due to the fact that the internet was not sufficient. We were a group of guys playing golf and trying to do some business when back at the house, spotty internet made this difficult. The food trucks across the street were great, especially the Taco Truck. Supplies were fine, except only 1/2 a roll of paper towels.

Vacaciones overall

It is a beautiful property. Great for large familias. We unfortunately felt like it could have been cleaner. The garbages were full so we didnt have anywhere to throw trash. The vent above the stove didnt work. We also needed blankets there were only 2 in the house. The shower was clogged and drained slow. On the bright side sufficient towels and cooking dishes and beach stuff. It is very far from the waikiki great if you want piece and quiet. Also área of mormons so very dificult to find alcohol on this side of the island.

Stay at this location great for price

Our stay here was awesome, the king suit is the best room with a huge bathroom and closet, everyone felt like they had enough space location was great and close to awesome food trucks, I’d say only negative is the cleaning wasn’t the best, and a few stuff was broken when we arrived or didn’t work properly, but for the price can’t beat it. Would stay again

Amazing family vacation

This house had plenty of room for everyone, The beds were pretty small, other than the master - but they were comfortable,. It was a great location, away from the city craziness. Did find it challenging to find stuff open for dinner close by and we were too lazy to cook, but we got by. Did not want to leave.

Great North Shore Location

The property is in an amazing location. More than enough room for our family. Needs some up keep (small touch ups to paint mostly) and the carpets replaced (taken out) but overall we are very happy with our stay. The medical center wasn’t bothersome, very light traffic, only one ambulance we notice light but no siren at 10pm on our second night.

big green family home

Our kids and grandkids fit comfortably in this home. It was a bit of a shock to drive into the hospital parking lot to get to it, but it turned out not to be a problem. The front yard and veranda were wonderful and the only problem with the hospital were the lights. I would recommend blackout curtains for the bedrooms. I think because of covid and shutdowns, the home is not operating at optimal potential. It definitely needs a deep cleaning. The Kitchen is NOT stocked. There isn't even any salt. Bring it with you as it is very expensive on the north shore to buy basics like salt and pepper etc. There was no soap in the baths and showers, no trash bags left for us to use...It took 2 days to find that there were kitchen towels..they were left in a cupboard upstairs. It took a few days to discover that there were trash bins for the bathrooms...they were all piled up in the laundry room upstairs. They provided 1 roll of paper towels for 12 people for the week. I understand that there are roaches in Hawaii, but we had to kill them every day downstairs. There were a constant parade of ants in the bathrooms upstairs...they did provide RAID...but the cleaning people do not bother to wipe up the dead ant trails left on window ledges and base boards from before. The property manager was very good at responding to us. She brought us soap for the showers, and trash bags too. I suspect the cleaning service was new.... I would recommend this home, and I would stay there again...as long as the issues are worked out. It really is a wonderful home with great potential if you are bringing you big family to North Shore. Even the loft that has the bunk beds...not a real bedroom...was great for my grandkids. They loved it and felt very grown up there. I am assuming that the problems are all covid and shutdown related and will improve as the situation improves.

a lot left out

At first glance prefect! The property was the right size for our needs and family size. Nicely decorated, open and airy, big dinning table to accommodate a large group. Unfortunately, the house needs a deep clean (inside and out), only the major surfaces were cleaned, non of the household products were refilled and all the knives were dull. Not very welcoming. Also, a lot was left out of the description . . . like the community hospital is right behind the house (visible through the kitchen window, with a helipad next to two bed rooms). While there were no emergency landings or sirened ambulance arrivals the week we were there it would have been a nice to know. And the "room" with the bunk beds is an open space not a room with a door. Also, two of the bathrooms are Jack & Jill bathrooms. Having a full bathroom on the ground floor is nice so to not bother sleeping family on the second floor. NOTE: The three bedrooms have FULL size beds (not queen size), which is uncommon and can be tight for two people.

Dream Home!

This beautiful plantation style home is something straigbt out of my dreams! Our entire family loved it - way more than our previous vacation rental in Hauula. We look forward to staying here again and again.. every year.. for our annual family trip :)

Adventure on the North Shore

Spacious home. Gorgeous grounds out the front yard. Conveniently located for all the North shore activities and food trucks across the street were awesome. The back of the house was the medical center. The house is gorgeous and had a very well stocked kitchen. Could have used a couple of instructions for the induction stove but once we figured it out we really liked it.
