« The cabin was great! Nice wood inside..AC ..nice king bed..TV had some issues and would be nicer if they had a few more channels..nice short walk to river and lots of trees!! Good market near by with prepared foods for using BBQ..did not find good fishing this trip but will return when river is more back to normal. Staff was very helpful and nice! Especially Lonnette who rearrainged our dates because of the flooding. »

« The property is a mix of little cabins and rv spaces. It was clean and quiet. The mattress was very nice and comfortable. It was just the 2 of us but there was sleeping space for 4 others. Bunk beds in the other small bedroom and a futon in the living area. It also had a barbecue and picnic table in the outside space. Reasonable prices. I would recommend »

« The cabin is super cute, very clean, and has an awesome location. We thought we were getting the cabin pictured with a deck but cabin 11 does not have one. Either way, it’s a very nice stay. On the property, Kern River runs through where we saw people fishing. While it’s very close to town, I wouldn’t recommend walking since it’s on the main road. Our hosts were very nice and we would absolutely head back when we can. »

« Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We had access to a little creek, with such clear water. Our area was pretty much shaded the whole time with all the tree coverage. The inside was cute and cozy! Loved the amenities that were included. Very clean inside and well maintained outside.Will definitely be back! »

« Loved the goats, chickens, fresh eggs, views and hosts! Not the most comfortable bed for people who prefer a firm mattress. »

« Was not able to get to the property due to fire danger so could not rate cleanliness bu but gave good ratings because the host was so helpful and cooperative about refunding our money based on fire risk. So we assume all property was good. »

« We had an absolutely wonderful time! We loved the space, especially the big deck for stargazing and the creek for splashing around. There was AC throughout the house which made the hot days easy. This place is a total gem and only 12 minutes from town and the river! The only thing we would change for our next visit is that we would bring an extra air mattress as some of the fold out couches weren’t super comfortable. « This cabin was meticulously clean and well-stocked with essentials, seasonings, cookware, and bakeware. The host was very communicative and genuinely cared about his guests' enjoyment. My husband and I traveled from Missouri just to see the Sequoias, and they did not disappoint. The only downsides were the lack of cell signal and the distance from town. « Our family wanted a summer style cabin with a few basic amenities in order to have quick access to the trail of 100 Giants and this was a truly remarkable and special place to stay.
