The gated Kawama Yault Club, where the condo is located, has amazing grounds. The lagoon is full of tropical fish. We even saw a couple baby tarpon (3-4 ft). There's also a beautiful shorline area too with tiki huts, tables, chairs, and fire pits. It truly was beautiful and well kept. There was a nice path around the lagoon for walks, and a jetty (with seating and firepit) with spectacular sunsets. Lots to do in this community!
The unit was very nice and updated. Every morning our group of six gathered on the main floor balcony for morning coffee. It faced the lagoon and was framed nicely in tropical trees. It would have been nice if there were cushions for the chairs though, especially for us old folks. We also had to bring chairs from the other balconys so that we had enough for our group. A separate balcony facing the parking lot wasn't really useful since there wasn't much furniture or anything to look at besides the parking lot.
As others have pointed out, the stairs in the unit were steep, and since there are three levels, you find yourself using the stairs often. It's a shame the entry into the unit is on the bottom floor where there is a sitting room, bedroom, and bathroom. It would have been more convenient if the entry was on the main floor where there is the main living room, kitchen, and balcony. But we adjusted to it and it wasn't that big a dea.
Overall, this was a great place and we loved it! Wish we have stayed there more than a week!
