We went to the location specified by the directions on this account and it took us to large marina with the amenities listed, but no boat. Called the host no answer. Called the Marina office, they told us the boat had been moved. Called the host's mother and she gave us a phone number of the boat prep/maid. She then directed us to the boat's current location in a totally different and less-desirable location. We were bait-and-switched. The location, amenities, boat staff, and condition of the boat are not as advertised. The host also separately scheduled charter trips 6 hours on 1 day and 4 hours on another day which we paid for in advance, only to find out that he is not even in the country. If he assigned somebody else to be the host and/or drive the boat, they never showed up. No captain, deck hand, host or attendant ever showed up. No one communicated with us about the times of the charters or that they had been canceled due to weather... nothing. We sat around all day waiting for communication. He ghosted us. After checking his reviews here and on other platforms, this seems to be a pattern with this host. Oh yeah and did I mention the whole inside of the boat smelled like spilled diesel? On the other hand, we did sleep on the boat and we did cook some nice fish that we bought at a local market there. We left a day early to seek better accommodations elsewhere. Total scam.
