« This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience. »

« Perfect for me traveling solo. The place was extremely clean. The towels were soft. The sheets were soft. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best bed I have ever had in renting places in OBX for 30 years. Everything I needed was there. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. My favorite seafood market in walkable distance. The deck was private. It was quiet. There is the pattering of feet during waking hours above that I got used to quickly. The neighborhood is quiet. ...

« We coordinated our trip with friends staying at the KOA. This apartment was close enough to make meeting up for dinner/sight seeing easy. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood which we prefer over the noise of all the activity areas of the campground. The open room layout was fine for the two of us and the beach is within a sort walking distance. »

« We loved our stay here! The studio apt was all brand new and immaculate! The bed was comfortable and the shower was great too. (which is always important) The hosts were very helpful and welcoming! We would definitely stay here again. »

« We enjoyed being close to REAL Water Sports and the Salvo Day Use area - for some kiting and canoeing. The bedroom is small but the bathroom is large. Lee also has an outdoor shower, which is nice after coming home wet and sandy. The "kitchenette" is really just a mini-fridge, microwave, and single cup Keurig in the closet - adequate for a morning cup and to store your beer or leftovers, but don't plan to make yourself breakfast here. « We had so much fun at this property! I felt like it was perfect because we had a washer and dryer, so it was great for washing clothes for our baby (we traveled with a 7 month old). I liked that there were 2 bathrooms, and the bedrooms were extremely spacious! This didn’t really bother us, but keep in mind that the location isn’t right on the beach. « We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome!
