We checked in with no issues at first, but about 10 minutes after bringing our things inside, a repairman entered the house—something we were not informed about—saying he needed to fix the stove. He wasn’t able to complete the repair because parts had to be ordered.Not long after, we began noticing that the house had not been properly cleaned. Two of the three showers had visible mold, and in one of the beds we found wrappers, crumbs, and what appeared to be a used sheet.The dryer was also broken, so we were unable to do laundry until Thursday. We had emailed about this issue on Sunday, but no one was able to come until several days later. In that same conversation, we were also told that the dishwasher was broken and would need to be replaced.While the pool and hot tub were enjoyable, the surrounding deck had nails sticking out, which was a safety concern. Additionally, the handle on the sliding glass door broke off in my father-in-law’s hand while he was trying to open it.After reaching out about our concerns, management offered us 100 back and a 200 voucher to stay with them again. We appreciate the gesture, but we will not be taking a chance to stay with them again.Overall, for the price we paid, we did not feel the property was maintained or prepared at the level we expected. Having to clean mold out of bathrooms and deal with multiple maintenance issues during our stay was very disappointing.
