To cut the long story short, the terrible experience, neither Expedia nor South Nest Hotel (Anerdeen, Hong Kong) was willing to take the responsibility for my request of one night's refund which I have complied with all the requirements with proofs. Even though i followed the Expedia cancellation/change guidelines of notifiying South Nest about my new arrival date more than 3 weeks before Nov 21 which is the last date for full cancellation/changes. Yet, after days of negotiation with South Nest and Expedia, final verdit was South Nest said NO STAFF picked up my message which I have a proof of the conversation. Expedia tried to help but the final decision was up to the hotel's discretion and of course South Nest insisted they would not give me the refund. In short, as a customer torn between the 2 parties with proof to seek for one nights' refund which is totally unacceptable. For any travellers plan to stay in South Nest in Hong Kong, you might take a second thought. There are plenty of hotels in Hong Kong offer very competitive price. South Nest is NOT an conveniently located, NOT close to MTR the subway (not within walking distance) which is the prime transportation system in Hong Kong. Good luck to travellers.
