« This cabin is located in the middle of a national forest not far from the Colorado border in a remote location. It is surrounded by native vegetation and wildlife. While you are having breakfast, you can often see a family of deer grazing just outside the dining room. On our drive to town, we also came across a family of wild turkeys. « need larger tv that can easily be seen. need light over sinks in bathroom. needs clear instructions for heater. needs more comfortable seating. needs back items such as toilet paper and paper towels and least a broom and dust pan. also needs walkover mat just inside front door. »

« Heating systems were weak. Heating was in the loft and, of course, heat only rises. »

« Former dude ranch with a rustic feel. A lot of history with famous authors, actors and celebrities. Would stay again. Would love to own a cabin like this. »

« The cabin was very accommodating for our group. We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday and had a group of 11 people ranging in ages from 9 months to 60. There were quite a few spiders as mentioned in other reviews, but I feel like that was to be expected considering the location of the property. The only negative aspect was that the hot tub never did get hot. It stayed at a barely like warm temperature. All in all, we really enjoyed the property and plan to return in the future. »
