The house did not look like any of the pictures listed. The house was very outdated. The couches were gross and had an odor, most of the outside furniture was broken so there was no where to sit. The view of the lake was beautiful but there was tons of garbage laying all over by the lake (cigarette butts, old cornhole game, plastic, wood, etc.). Window screens are in disrepair, lamps out and broken and cracked items everywhere. The house was not very well stocked and made it difficult to cook, which is a big part of our weekend here. No oven mitts, dish towels, sharp knives, cookie sheets, etc. Coffee makers did not work (both of them), they leaked water everywhere. Everytime we used oven, the whole house was filled with smoke because the oven was filthy and filled with grease on the bottom of the oven.We rent a house every year in Masthope on Easter weekend to get together with all our grown children and cook and celebrate. We have been doing this for years and always have a good experience. This was the worst house we stayed in and the first time I had to write a bad review. The house needs a lot work and not in rentable or presentable shape. I would not recommend staying in this house.
