They are on small lots and seemed on top of each other. So it wasn’t the wilderness experience I was expecting. Also not very tourist friendly as only homeowners are allowed to use the lake. »

« This wonderful little cottage is an absolute gem. My family and I came up to get away & celebrate my birthday. This was our first family vacation with our son (2.5) and our sweet pup that was recovering from surgery. The beds were very comfortable and clean. « The house was clean upon arrival and nicely furnished. The upstairs bedrooms are good sized. The kitchen had most of what we needed. Downstairs bathroom appears to be updated and had better water pressure than the upstairs one. The outside deck has a nice view into the trees and is large. Some kind of repair needed for a covered hole there, but no problems with it. Location is just a short drive to the Village. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider for our next trip to the lake. High...

« Our second time here. All that matters about this place is the 180 degree ocean view. Just spectacular. Of course we also love the ease of checking in, the well stocked kitchen, and San Clemente in general. Seems to us that SC is a little less touristy than beach towns north and south. Great restaurants, great vibe. We even went to the old mission at San Juan Capistrano! We will definitely rent here again. »

« We had a great time at Opie’s place! It was exactly as described in the listing and had everything we needed. As a mom of two children (0-6) it was amazing to have things like children’s games, plates, a pack and play and high chair to use while we were there. It made such a difference. As well, Opie was super communicative. Overall, wonderful stay and we would totally stay there again. »

« My family and I had an amazing, relaxing, and fun time. The house is beautiful and spacious. It’s on a big piece of land with a small stream in the back area. House has all the amenities needed for a quick family getaway board games and less then a 10 minutes to Village. Plenty of hiking trails and other scenery just minutes away from the house. Looking forward to staying again during snow season!!! »

« We loved Little Chip! Great location, clean and comfortable house. Everything is very thought out and really does have all the basics that you need. Our favorite part was how kid friendly Little Chip is! Our little one LOVED the playroom which is packed with books and toys. The entire house is kid friendly as well; safe stairs, soft cushion on the edges of all furniture and fireplace! Makes it very easy for traveling parents 🙂 Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to those families...

« This was an amazing trip and we enjoyed the house so much. Very relaxing and tranquil, bring your books and games. We shopped and cooked in the well equipped kitchen. The entire house was very equipped with everything you would need. We found the beds and linens to be very comforting. « Four adults and three teens enjoyed our stay! Loved that the adults had the top floor and the teens took the lower floor. Parking was easy. Great places for morning walks/runs. Lovely partial view of the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed and we grilled on the deck the first two nights. Plenty of space to stretch out for the adults and work remotely during the week. It was a perfectly relaxing spring break trip for our group. We would definitely stay again! »

« Cabin was nice and clean, in a good location just an eight minute drive to the village. Well supplied. Wish we could have used the fireplace, but it is against the rules. Also was told I had to book a second night in addition to the night I had already booked, only a few weeks prior to the trip. Overall 4 star experience. »
