„This cabin sits right on the outlet, and is less than a mile from the ADK bike trail. As paddlers and pedalers, this location was ideal. The trade off is distance from town (Saranac Lake) and the lack of a washer/dryer and a traditional oven/stove top. The quiet at night was lovely.“

„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bear Cabin with a beautiful view of Lake Colby. The cabin was decorated very nicely with lots of bear motif. Having access to a variety of boats (canoes, kayaks and row boats) was much appreciated. The Adirondack chairs outside were perfect for watching the sunset. The walls in the bedrooms do not go all the way to the ceiling, and thus the lighting from the living room and kitchen area can be a bit distracting for those people who like to sleep in or go to ...

„Everything was amazing. The cabin was big and beautiful, well maintained, and very clean! The screen porch is great to have for the mornings and evenings. The lake is gorgeous and we had a great time kayaking, swimming, and fishing each day. The cabin is close to all the areas we wanted see and the things we wanted to do - hikes, picnics, little towns, ice cream (!), etc. We would 100% recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Adirondack region! “

"Das Cambria Hotel war das schönste auf unserer 4-wöchigen Reise durch die Neu-Englandstaaten. Das lag vor allem an den herzlichen Mitarbeitern (vom Hotel-Manager David angefangen) über die Leute an der Rezeption und im Restaurant. Zudem hat das Hotel einige Annehmlichkeiten, die deutlich über dem Durchschnitt liegen. (Laundry, Innenpool, Restaurant-Terrasse mit schönen Möbeln, Kajaks und Tretboote zum Ausleihen und einer schönen Aussenanlage am See mit Feuerstellen) Wir haben uns in dem schönen, recht großzügigen Zimmer mit Pantry, mit Ausblick auf die Berge und dem tollem Badezimmer sehr wohl gefühlt. Von uns gibt es eine Empfehlung für Lake Placid für dieses Hotel."
