„We loved this location and house! We are a family of 4 and there were plenty of things for everyone to do. We loved the lake and how close we were to the dunes. The house was very well stocked with kitchen items. We used the kayaks and canoes and had no problem reaching the owner with any questions. We loved our stay and will be happy to stay again when we go back to Michigan. “

„This stay was amazing. We loved everything about the house. It was the perfect location for my family to explore the Leelenau peninsula. The kitchen was well stocked and the home had so many small details that were really well thought out. „We had the best time at Matthew’s property! We had 3 families staying (one with 2 younger kids) and having separate bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for us. Check in was super simple and we didn’t have any issues. The house was super clean and the amenities were excellent - the hand soap smelled so good; we loved that he provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each of the bathrooms; towels were also provided, both for showers and the beach. „ We had a great stay. House was immaculate. Had all amenities and more. Very well stocked. All beds were comfortable. Perfect for two families. The kids had so much fun using the kayaks. „We had a wonderful week! Check-in was simple and Katie was immediately available for anything we needed. The setting is so quiet and peaceful, very few boats on the lake, even on the weekend. A bald eagle visited every day, and listening to the loons and sandhill cranes was magical. The availability of the pontoon was awesome, as were all the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, all of which we used every day. Great campfires and stargazing every night topped it all off. „This was a lovely house. We loved being on Cedar Lake and the kayaks were our favorite outdoor activity. There's a fire pit by the lake. The pontoon ran with no problems. We did have to run the fan, as suggested, because the lower level was cold otherwise. We would stay there again if in the area.“

„Perfect place for our family of 5 and dog! Fun times on the lake with the nice dock and amazing sandbar. Well-stocked kitchen and clean BBQ grill. Short walk to downtown Beulah. Excellent views of the lake from the open-air and screened-in porches. Didn’t see a 3rd bathroom so it could be a little challenging if there were multiple families staying together. Still 10/10 for us though!“

„I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!“
