The Space:

Inside, the cabin feels like a cozy sanctuary built for relaxation. The living room, inviting you to sink into deep leather recliners with a good book or gather around the crackling wood-burning stove on chilly desert evenings. The open kitchen and dining nook are fully equipped for slow morning coffees and home-cooked dinners, making every meal feel relaxed and easy. When it is time to rest, step into the peaceful bedroom, drop into a plush king bed outfitted with soft linens, and wake up to sweeping views of the surrounding desert mountains without ever leaving your pillow.



The real desert magic begins the moment you step out onto the back patio. With five acres of untamed desert all to yourself, there are no noisy neighbors or city lights to interrupt the peace. Spend warm afternoons grilling on the gas barbecue or practicing yoga under the vast blue sky. As dusk settles and paints the mountains in shades of violet and gold, slip into the steaming outdoor hot tub right outside your bedroom door. Under a pitch-black night sky free of light pollution, you can watch shooting stars trace across the Milky Way and listen to the gentle desert breeze sweep across the landscape.



The property is also located in one of the best “off road” paradises…only minutes away from Johnson Valley where the world renowned “King of the Hammers” takes place.

Getting Around:

The property is located on about 3 miles of dirt roads. We send out specific driving directions to get you to the property easily. GPS will not bring you to the right property and if you use GPS you may end up stuck in the sand.



We recommend traveling by car to explore Joshua Tree for maximum flexibility, as ride sharing services are unreliable. If you prefer not to drive, the local taxi service Lucky 777 is a dependable option. Our property offers free parking for up to four vehicles to ensure your car is kept secure during your stay.



Other Things to Note:

3:00PM Check-In: We'd love for you to check in before 8pm so you have plenty of daylight to settle in and get comfortable before dark.



Mini Splits: Each room is equipped with its own mini-split unit, allowing guests to individually control heating and cooling for personalized comfort.



Pets Allowed: We welcome dogs for a fee of $60 per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs per stay. Please note that no other pets are permitted at this property.



Dirt Roads: The property is located on ~3 miles of dirt roads. We send out specific driving directions to get you to the property easily. GPS will not bring you to the right property and if you use GPS you may end up stuck in the sand. We strongly recommend a high clearance and/or AWD vehicle and drive carefully.



Wifi: Desert wifi can be super spotty and can go in and out. We have the best service for our rural area, Starlink Wifi



Guest Policy: We only allow the number of guests listed as the maximum occupancy for this property, so any additional day guests must be requested and approved in advance. No extra overnight guests are permitted beyond those included in your reservation.



Watch your Step: This desert land holds onto bits of its past, so you may spot the occasional rusty object or piece of glass in the yard, please wear shoes anytime you're outside. You'll also be sharing the landscape with local snakes and scorpions. They want nothing to do with you, so if you see one, just back away calmly and quietly



Wood Burning Fires: We do not permit wood-burning fires anywhere on the property at any time, including in fire pits or fireplaces, due to the high risk of wildfire in our area. This policy is strictly enforced for the safety of our guests, neighbors, and the surrounding landscape,.



Desert Critters: Please keep doors closed while entering and exiting, curious critters will let themselves in given the chance. Desert wildlife is part of what makes this area special, expect sightings of jackrabbits, tortoises, roadrunners, quail, and lizards. You may also spot coyotes, rattlesnakes, scorpions, or occasionally a bobcat or mountain lion. Most just want their space, so it's best to give them yours.



Camera/ Decibel Monitor: This property has forward-facing exterior security cameras, but there are no cameras anywhere inside the home. We also use noise decibel monitors indoors to help avoid disturbing neighbors. These only measure sound levels and never record audio.

We like to respect our guest’s privacy, so you won’t see too much of us - unless you need us to come by. We will be available to answer any questions you may have and to help make your stay more enjoyable.
