« Don’t stay in room 1101! We booked too late to get a beachfront view and had to settle for the “bay” view. But what this room had was a “roof” view, with a balcony whose total view consisted of a giant expanse of roof. Moreover, the restaurant vented its fumes up there, so it was so smelly as to be unusable. We really value our outdoor space in a hotel and were irked to pay over $600 per night for this. Soundproofing was also poor; the room has an adjoining door and we could hear a very vocal...
