Unfortunately, our experience with this booking was far from smooth. Due to a lack of clear and timely communication, my 72-year-old mother was left waiting in a nearby café after being denied access to the property—despite having completed the booking process through the Stayz website, confirmed it again via email with the host, and once more through the partner company Omega Rentals’ “Boarding Pass” system.The process was unlike any other Stayz booking I’ve made—confusing, unnecessarily time-consuming, and ultimately unreliable.Following the stay, the issues escalated. My mother began receiving multiple concerning messages from someone named Chen Hindi, claiming that payment hadn’t been received, even though I had provided my credit card details at the time of booking and received confirmation on several occasions. Shockingly, this was followed by a legal threat less than 24 hours later, only to be retracted when they realised they had mistaken me for someone else with the same name. A subsequent message claimed that my credit card had expired—yet the booking was confirmed, which should not have been possible without a valid payment method.This has caused significant distress to my family, particularly my elderly parents, who are now understandably wary and suspicious of Omega Rentals legitimacy. Grace was pleasant and helpful, but the overall handling of our booking was highly unprofessional and stressful.I would strongly advise caution before booking this property.
