Hotel Long Bay

« This is a great property, and I would have given it 5 stars is the valet situation wasn’t as absurd as it was. The entire front parking lot is reserved for valet only leaving only a few parking spots on the side of the hotel and street parking. During our stay, only 2 or 3 people utilized valet for their stay. Perhaps it was busier when the restaurant was open. Hotel patrons should not have to park down the street. Compass is nice, but it’s not the Ritz - it’s more like an upscale Holiday...

« The owners went above and beyond in every way possible. No details were missed. The house was beautiful; the hosts gracious and helpful, and the food was divine. There were cookies, filtered water, and wine in the room for us- it was decorated beautifully and the bathroom was fully stocked with anything we could need. »

« The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable. »
