We had a lovely long weekend at the Claremont. We’ve been to Polperro a few times, but never stayed in the village. The hotel was convenient to walk into the village and the breakfast was lovely. Staff very attentive too! Would stay again!

All the staff really friendly, attention to detail was excellent & en-suite room 8 was just refurbished we were the first ones to check in this season. 10 out of 10 Juliette & Stuart we will be back Colin & Donna

Lovely hotel in middle of village
Great family run hotel with friendly welcome, lovely room and very nice communal lounge area. Breakfast excellent. Superb location in middle of village with added bonus of parking right opposite, and easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in the Claremont hotel, the staff and owners are friendly and helpful with plenty of tips on places to visit etc No hesitation in recommending to others and we will certainly be back.

Great place to stay but avoid room 12!
Lovely stay, staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast. We had a room in the roof, very quirky but a bit difficult to move around it. Lots of angled beams.

Great place to stay
We went for a one day stay on our way to a wedding in Cornwall. We had the most friendly welcome I have ever had in a hotel. We wished we had longer there as there was still lots to do in the area. Rooms were lovely and clean, bathrooms brand new and location perfect.

Just what we needed.
We went for a relaxing night away after a traumatic few months and we got it. We had room 12, the quirky room and it was just what we needed. The cleanliness was spot on and both Becky and Diane were so friendly. We loved it.

The Claremont is in the heart of the village. I found it to be clean, comfortable and friendly. It provided plenty of choice at breakfast. The bus service to Looe is useful.

Fantastic stay here for 3 nights. Very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Delicious breakfast and spotless room and bathroom with great in-room amenities. Hotel parking is a real bonus too.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Claremont. Both the staff and the owners were excellent with the ever cheerful Di being the heart and soul of the breakfast room. Highly recommended

This is a very friendly family run hotel.
We stayed at the Claremont Hotel for 4 nights as a base to visit all the lovely places in Cornwall. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and made our stayed enjoyable. The breakfast menu was amazing as so much to choose from.

Lovely stay
The rooms were delightful. They have an honesty bar with drinks and snacks and complimentary tea and coffee. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Rules on check in 4-6pm only were a little strict which needed me to change my plans. Other than that - lovely stay.

Hi Martyn, thank you for your comments. As per our Check In information, our Reception is indeed open until 6pm each day, as we are just a small family-run Hotel. Guest Rooms are ready and accessible no later than 4pm. However guests are very welcome to park in our private car park, check in at Reception and make use of our facilities anytime between 11am - 6pm on their day of arrival.
