« Nice community, not far from Key West. However the house was not clean. The sheets and pillows had blood on them and looked like they had not been washed, there was a lot of dust and floors were not vacuumed properly. The bathrooms had hair on the walls. This resulted in us having to sleep on top of blankets we brought with us. »

« This is a very special place. You pay for the tranquility and the peace. You have a private beach all to yourself. And the deer are super friendly (yes). A great plus is you can BBQ on the beach yourself. Please fix the big fridge and make more kitchen utensils and plates and glasses available. That would make it even more positive. I would come back. »

« Absolutely horrible stay. It took over an hour to get the key code. The place looks like an unfinished Boy Scout project. Everything is old and dirty and rusty . Cigarette butts on the beach. Everything is rundown and damaged. I don’t believe that there was even a credible architect building this place. I felt like I was in a horror movie. Last but not least We found out that the place is for sale

« Barnacle Resort Stayed 3 nights at the “Treehouse Private Village” in the Barnacle Resort on Big Pine Key. I really enjoyed my stay, the property is quite nice, and very private. One of the attractions on Big Pine Key is seeing Key deer, which astonishingly wandered around the resort property several times a day.
