COTTAGES MOUNTAIN JOY # 10 - GROS OURS

Le Mountain Joy Cottage # 10, Big Bear, est décoré sur le thème de l'ours. Ce cottage romantique est équipé d'un bain à remous.

À l’origine, la propriété de Maggie Setzer, qui a donné son nom à Maggie Valley, la terre sur laquelle se trouve Mountain Joy est un lieu privilégié. Vous serez enchanté par son charme montagnard, son ambiance familiale et son caractère. Nous offrons tout le confort moderne que vous êtes en droit d’attendre avec l’accès à l’année et l’isolement que très peu de gens peuvent offrir.

Profitez du cadre de campagne paisible de nos chalets. Nous avons des cottages à une, deux ou quatre chambres, tous équipés de cheminées à bois, de la télévision par câble, d’Internet et de cuisines prêtes à préparer un repas fait maison. En dehors des porches ont des chaises à bascule afin que vous puissiez profiter de votre café du matin ou profiter du coucher de soleil sur les montagnes en soirée. Notre piscine extérieure vitrée (en saison) est un lieu de détente idéal.

Les Mountain Joy Cottages sont situés au cœur de Maggie Valley, à seulement un pâté de maisons de Setzer Cove Road et permettent d'accéder facilement à toutes les attractions de la région. Nous sommes à quelques minutes de la Scenic Blue Ridge Parkway et du parc national des Great Smoky Mountains. La région regorge de boutiques d'artisanat, d'antiquités et de cadeaux. Vous pourrez faire de l’équitation, jouer au golf sur des parcours de montagne, pêcher la truite dans les ruisseaux, faire de la descente en eaux vives et faire de la randonnée en plein air. Le ski de neige et les tubes sont disponibles pour toute la famille au domaine skiable de Cataloochee. La vie nocturne comprend tout, du jazz au bluegrass, en passant par le colmatage ou les dîners. Nos cottages se trouvent à quelques minutes de route du Great Smoky Mountain Railway, d’Asheville et du Biltmore Estate, de Cherokee et de la réserve indienne, du casino Harrah’s et du centre-ville historique de Waynesville.

The cabin was cute, its an older cabin but still had charm. There are ELK that wander through the yard and eat apples off of the tree right there in front of you!!!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Our two night stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying in this cabin. The cabin was clean. There were plenty of linens. We enjoyed being lazy and sitting around the fireplace. The bed was comfy and extra pillows and blankets were provided.The office staff were kind when we arrived. We can't wait to stay again 😊

This is our second time in this unit. Very quiet location on the pond. Very nice location for a couples weekend getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable bed. Wood burning fireplace is a nice touch as well. Bring your own food, as there isn't a good reliable restaurant in Maggie Valley. Unit was very clean upon arrival.

Bed was horrible, sheets stained, floors dirty, air filter dirty, hot tub dirty, and didn’t feel safe with out a deadbolt on the doors.

Great cabin getaway

It was our second time staying here & we very much enjoyed our time. Prior to our trip, we did message the property managers asking questions but never received any answers. The cabin was very clean except for some dirty dishes & cutlery (dried food, etc) that we had to clean ourselves before they could be used. Suggestions would be to upgrade the blinds so that all could be opened (missing parts) & microwave to higher power model. Refrigerator also could be upgraded for a more aesthetically pleasing vibe (it looked like ALOT of mold on the outside of the fridge). Overall, we enjoyed our stay & hope to return in the future!

The trees from the porch was blocking most of the view. The bed was hard not enough hot water. There were also spider webs in the bathroom right around the window. I have to say it was in a good location close to everything.

Good just needs some better cleaning

There were cobwebs in places such as the curtain rods and just kind of dusty in general. There were a pair of dusty jeans that have been under the bed for a good while. Feet also turned black after walking on the floor. TV remotes also didn’t work so I’m assuming they had dead batteries.

The cabin was sweet, perfect size for a couple.……the furniture was impossible to get comfortable in, wifi service was poor, there are cracks in the walls to the outside and the fireplace didn’t have a good draw.

The Mountain Cottages

Beautiful place. Enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch seeing the pond and ducks. This morning we saw two Elks that came right up to the back porch where we were. Enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back.
