« On entering the hotel I was told to wait… even though I was the only one there…whilst the old guy behind the glass sloooooowly counted some cash and put it in envelopes.
I stood there for 20 minutes whilst he did this!
Eventually the lady next to him stepped in and helped me out.

« I am someone who never writes bad reviews; even if I feel uncomfortable, I usually just let it go. However, this time the experience was absolutely terrible. The hotel's cleanliness was appalling—the toilet was filthy, and the room door wouldn't even lock! The staff were incredibly rude and treated us like thieves! For anyone planning to stay in Penang, I strongly advise against staying at this wretched place! »
