Fall Colors + Your Dog | Fenced Yard, Fire Table

THE HOUSE

Four bedrooms, two baths, and an open living room with a stone fireplace and a rustic wood beam overhead. We renovated the place in 2025: new paint, new lighting, refinished cabinets, and mounted TVs. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are plenty of extra blankets for cold mountain nights.



OUTSIDE

The big screened-in porch out back is where you'll spend most of your time this season. Morning coffee, evening card games, no bugs. The deck has a propane fire table for chilly nights, and there's a cornhole set in the backyard. Once the leaves drop, you get a mountain view through the trees.



BRING THE DOG

The backyard is fenced, so your dog can run around off the leash. Shenandoah National Park is one of the few national parks that allows dogs on most of its trails (leashed, 6 feet max). Massanutten Resort also welcomes dogs in its outdoor parks and at a few outdoor dining spots.



FALL IN THE VALLEY

Drive Skyline Drive for the overlooks, hit the orchards and wineries around the Shenandoah Valley, or stay on the mountain and do nothing at all. The chalet sits on a quiet wooded street in Massanutten Village, a few minutes from the resort.
