« Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. We brought food to cook during our stay and finding everything in the kitchen was a breeze! We loved the layout. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. « fantastic !! Rob was always available and we had an amazing time visiting historic Hanover and our trip to Gettysburg was well spent during this 162nd anniversary. It was our first trip to the area and battlefield sites and we cant wait to visit again. We will definitely reach out to Rob and the Bucher house for our stay(s) in the future !! »

« This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home. Would definitely stay here again! »

« Quite literally one of the most beautiful vacation rentals homes I’ve ever stayed in. Every room had a unique quality and made me walk away wishing it was my home. The owners were so kind and responsive and even had water bottles and coffee fixings provided for us. « This a beautiful modernized Civil War house that just seems to keep going. Tons of room and the place is very well-kept and welcoming. The backyard is spacious with comfortable accommodations (plus parking) and you're right downtown in walk-around Gettysburg. Perfect for a weekend stay, or longer. »
