« Wombats. That's the review. I'm not sure how to make this easier for everyone but there are wonderful wombats around the property. They come right up to the accommodation. They LOVE eating the chestnuts that fall off the surrounding trees in autumn/winter. Best times are early evening after dark until about 9pm and then sporadically until about 4am. « Beautiful accommodation, stunning location. River access had a fallen tree, but added some adventure to our trip! The skylight windows are just gorgeous, an amazing way to wake in the morning. Love the facilities provided and practical things like pillows, plates, cutlery, picnic basket etc Bedroom fan needs some attention, but not a hot weekend so all good x »

« Lyrebird cottages was set in a lovely tranquil location, Silver Wattle cottage was clean and comfortable. The breakfast provisions (eggs, bacon, bread, cereal, butter, jam, milk, juice) were great and the owners provided excellent information prior to/during our stay. We were fortunate enough to see the Autumn leaves, pick chestnuts from the property and see a few lyrebirds as well. I would definitely recommend Lyrebird cottages for a weekend away! »

« Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. « Beautiful little place to stay! Very private, and has everything you need for a relaxing time away. Spa and Sauna we're both awesome. Was very clean and stocked, and has plenty of tea, coffee and even some cereal if you're feeling peckish. Owners included instructions for the sauna which is handy if you've never used one before. Cuisine mal équipée dont les couverts etc ne semblent pas être vérifiés avant l'arrivée de chaque client. Sinon excellent séjour et établissement bien situé. »
