Serenity Abode Summar

Summary:
Unique secluded bush style property designed to create a private stay for people looking for a peaceful getaway. The sounds and atmosphere that nature provides will give you the feeling of being a million miles away with the stresses of life left behind.

The Space:
Staying in the bush doesn't always mean camping in a tent, we want you to do it in comfort and style. Our beautiful tiny home is complemented by a large deck that doubles the living space, bringing the outdoors in.

The tiny house offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, hot showers, a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, complete with air-conditioning and heating. It is a lovely studio space of 155 sqft with a queen bed. Comfortable for 2!

Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire 6 acres at their leisure.

The Neighborhood:
10 mins from a major town. The area contains a small town with a bakery, iconic pub and winery that provides all you can eat wood fire pizzas. Driving just out of town will put you in Emerald that has an award winning bakery plus a weekend market. Further out of Emerald brings the Dandenong ranges and Yarra valley into play where you can be introduced to so many amazing places and sights to see.

Getting Around:
By car from Melbourne : 52 minutes

Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Breakfast options available (at extra cost, please pre-order before check-in)
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We have a local Labrador called Diesel who often visits the tiny house to greet guests. No worries, he is extremely friendly with people and other animals.
- Please note that we also have other wildlife on the property, including kangaroos, wombats, etc. The stay has not been made to cater for pets with the likes of fenced off areas, doggy doors, dog bowls etc.

Important note:

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our compost toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.

In view of the Covid-19 situation, we have stepped up our cleaning of the tiny house and alcohol based sanitiser is provided.

Perfect place reset and relax
My partner and I recently stayed at Serenity Abode as a surprise 2 night getaway for his 40th birthday. We had such a lovely time, surrounded by trees and nature by the outdoor fire. The second night and day it rained and it was so serene watching the rain fall and the beautiful kookaburras and Rosellas sheltering in the trees from the comfort of the tiny house. The highlight of our stay was having the resident doggy, goodest boy Diesel visit and demand pats! We’ll definitely be back 🌸

A perfect, quiet little getaway!
If you're looking for a lovely, quiet and private getaway, you won't be disappointed with time spent at this tiny house! The hosts have made a beautiful little home; the bed was very comfy, all of the cooking utensils needed were provided, there was a double gas hob and bbq for cooking, and the wide deck out the front provides three different seating areas for you to enjoy. We spent many hours on the deck, enjoying the complete silence (apart from nature sounds), and it was the perfect comfortable place to sit out and look at the stars. There was even a coffee machine and frother provided so you'll get to enjoy your morning coffee with style! The host's home was barely visible through the trees - in fact, we didn't even see our hosts at all, and check in was super easy - so we really felt that we were in complete seclusion. I was thrilled to see no TV, and (as far as I know!) no wi-fi, as this was just what we were looking for. (mobile coverage was very good if you really need to have internet while you're there) There is even a little fire put outside on a paved area for you to enjoy. For us, it was the perfect little getaway, and we would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful tiny house, and would stay again in a heart beat. Thank you to our hosts Cameron and Megan for sharing their little piece of paradise!
